The Study Of The Tranditional Chinese Medicine Syndrome About Subacute Thyroiditis

ObjectiveIn the study, Traditional Chinese Medicine information of subacute thyroiditis was collected to observe Chinese Medicine syndrome of subacute thyroiditis and the distribution of syndrome type, and analyze the characteristic of index about syndrome types. It provide basis for clinical treatment of subacute thyroiditis.MethodsWe formulated syndrome abservation table of subacute thyroiditis and utilized Retrospective and prospective survey in this study. According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria, we selected inpatients or outpatients of the Guangdong Province Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital from January2009to March2014as research object to fill in the syndrome observation table and establish database by collecting the patients’records. All data were processed in PASW statistics18.0software.ResultsThe main syndrome of subacute thyroiditis are in front of the neck pain, sore throat, fever, fatigue, oreign body sensation in the throat red tongue, light red tongue, yellow greasy moss, thin yellow moss, slippery pulse, stringy pulse and so on. We find four groups of syndromes by clustering analysis. They are Heat dampness, stagnation of phlegm fire; Stagnation of qi ans phlegm, dampness and blood stasis; Live depression of the fire, heatand yin; Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney, phlegm and blood stasis. The numerical value of Heat dampness, stagnation of phlegm fire and Live depression of the fire, heatand yin are higher than numerical value Stagnation of qi ans phlegm, dampness and blood stasis and Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney, phlegm and blood stasis, about T3, T4, FT3, FT4, WBC, the euter granulocylte percentage, the lymphocyte percentage, ESR, CRP. TSH about blood stasis and Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney, phlegm and blood stasis is lower than the others. The thyroid palpation signs about the majority of Heat dampness, stagnation of phlegm fire and Live depression of the fire, heatand yin consist of Ⅱ、Ⅲ degree of thyromegaly, texture with tough or hard, tenderness. The thyroid palpation signs about the majority of Stagnation of qi ans phlegm; dampness and blood stasis and Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney, phlegm and blood stasis consist of I degree of thyromegaly, texture with soft or tough, absence of tenderness.ConclusionThere are four groups of syndromes about subacute thyroiditis. They are Heat dampness, stagnation of phlegm fire; Stagnation of qi ans phlegm, dampness and blood stasis; Live depression of the fire, heatand yin; Yang deficiency of spleen and kidney,phlegm and blood stasis. The indexes which contain thyroid function, ESR, CRP and the thyroid palpation signs can be the reference for syndrome differentiation of subacute thyroiditis. It can be used to judge and grasp dynamically for syndrome characteristics and evolution rules. It is helpful to grasp the clinical medication rule and adjust the treatment plan.
