ObjectiveErbium laser micro-ablative technology is applied to finely and accurately grind and cut pitting superficial scars caused by facial acne. On this basis, ReCell regeneration technology is adopted to promote the renovation of epithelium on the surface of wound. Drawing support from grading system and observing via confocal microscopy, the curative effect is compared, with the aim to assess the effectiveness and safety of combination therapy on facial acne scars, as well as to explore a new approach to cure facial superficial scars with high safety performance, outstanding curative effect, shorter recovery period, and easy to be promoted.Methods60superficial scars patients were selected from January2011to March2013in Dermatology Clinic of Tianjin Institute of traditional Chinese Medicine.60patients were randomly divided into two groups. Erbium laser micro-ablative technology and ReCell cell regeneration technique combined treatment is as treatment group, and single Erbium laser micro-ablative technology treatment is as contrast group.30patients were in each group. Follow the B. Dreno ECCA score sheet weight, according to the characters and intensiveness of superficial scars caused by facial acne to give a mark and make the final result after observing the injury of skin. Compare the depth of injury of skin before and after treatment via confocal microscopy for every patient, recording the adverse reactions and last time in and after the treatment in order to make the therapeutic evaluation and safety evaluation after six months treatment.Results1. ECCA scores of two groups are obviously decreased. No obvious change between one month treatment and three months treatment. The comparative change between treatment group and contrast group is quite obvious (P<0.05) 2. The effectiveness rate of treatment group is97%and the contrast group is90%. It has statistically significant of comparing total effectiveness rate of these two groups (P<0.05).3. The depth of superficial scars of both these two groups was obviously decreased after treatment via confocal microscopy. No obvious change between one month treatment and three months treatment. The comparative change between treatment group and contrast group is quite obvious (P<0.05)4. The recovery period of treatment group was5.89±2.39days and7.58±1.90days of contrast group. The data of treatment group is obviously low than the contrast group which it has statistically significant (P<0.05).5. In the course of treatment, there were two infectious pus blister examples. There was one constant redness example in contrast group in long-term observation. There were both pigmentation and hypertrophic scar in these two groups.Conclusion:1. The comparison of ECCA score、depth of scar、treatment effectiveness rate proved that it was effective and reliable of curing superficial scars via Erbium laser micro-ablative combined ReCell technology. It had better effect than using single Erbium laser.2. The comparison of recovery period and adverse reaction proved that it was safe and effective to cure superficial scars via Erbium laser micro-ablative technology. It could shorten the recovery period effectively, decrease the possibility of adverse reaction and have a better recovery result of skin combined with ReCell cell regeneration technology.
