ObjectiveThe thesis studies the clinical effects of the treatment of combining relieve uneasiness of mind and body tranquilization and TCM psychotherapy to the patient with panic disorder. Through dynamic monitoring the HAMA score of panic disorder patient before and after treatment, monitoring the patient’ s blood routine, blood glucose, blood lipid, renal function, liver function, electrocardiogram before and after therapy as well as observing the occurrence of the adverse reaction, the thesis discusses the advantages of the comprehensive treatment by TCM on panic disorder so as to further promote the application and research of the comprehensive treatment by TCM in related disease.MethodsAccording to randomized controlled grouping method, the70outpatients diagnosed with panic disorder in our hospital were divided into two groups: Chinese medicine combined group (test group) and western medicine group (control group) with35patients in each group. The test group were given sedative given shock syndrome subtraction soup psychotherapy combined TCM and the western medicine group orally-taken escitalopram oxalate tablets with10mg to20mg per-day taken after breakfast. The observation period was28days. Using the score of Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA) as condition monitoring indicators, the efficacy of the two groups were dynamically monitored respectively in the7th,14th and28th day before and after treatment. In addition, the blood, blood glucose, blood lipids, renal function, liver function, electrocardiogram were measured both before and after the treatment to observe the occurrence of adverse reactions.Resultsthe comparison of the curative effect of the two groups:the number of the effective cases of Chinese medicine combined group amounted to31, the total effective rate was92.36%; while there were30effective cases in the western medicine group with91.27%of total effective rate. The results above shows that the total effective rate of the two groups was considerably high after one course treatment. The two groups have similar improvement without significant statistical difference, the comparison of the total points of HAMA before and after treatment:there was statistical difference at the end of the7th day(P<0.05), no significant statistical difference at the end of the14th and the28th day(P>0.05); the comparison of the same group before and after the treatment:significant statistical difference had been observed at the end of the7th,14th and28th day (P<0.05); compared with prior treatment, there was no statistical significance after the7th day of the treatment conducted by control group (P>0.05). At the end of the14th and28th day, statistical difference had been observed (P<0.05). The results above indicate that the onset time of treatment group precedes control group, two groups have equivalent efficacy after14days treatment, the comparison of adverse reaction after taking drugs. The adverse reaction of treatment group was far less than that of control group with statistically significant differences.ConelusionThe experimental finding indicates that taking Escitalopram oxalate tables, adopting TCM syndrome differentiation that focuses on the combination of relieve uneasiness of mind and body tranquilization and TCM psychotherapy both have curative effect on panic disorder. By comparison, the curative effect of TCM combines psychotherapy therapies group is fast and satisfactory with rare adverse reactions, which is conductive to improve patient compliance. Therefore, comprehensive treatment by TCM possibly has long-term effect and can improve patients’life quality. Besides, it accords with the new medical model-social-psychological-biomedical treatment model. Thus, comprehensive treatment by TCM on panic disorder is worth promotion and application.
