Clinical Observation For Adjuvant Treatment Of Unstable Angina By Using Xiebai Sticking Points Of Xinshu, Neiguan

Background:Coronary heart disease is a heart disease caused by coronary atherosclerosis, myocardial ischemia and hypoxia. It’s a common and frequent disease that is harm to human health and life. Angina is one of its main clinical manifestations. Chinese medicines for oral and external use are applying for the treatment of the disease. With the increasing toxicity and resistance of oral drugs, more and more attention is paid to the acupoint therapy.Objectives:The external therapy of Xiebai sticking points of Xinshu, Neiguan would be used for treating the coronary heart disease of Qi deficiency and Phlegm Blood Stasis in this study. By observing the clinical effect and doing preliminary research, provided the clinical basis for the treatment of coronary heart disease by the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine.Methods:62cases of coronary heart disease in the research were divided into the test group of32cases and the control group of30cases. Besides the conventional therapy, the test group would use the external therapy of Xiebai sticking points of Xinshu, Neiguan; the control group only received conventional therapy. After treatment, observed the improvement of angina symptom, TCM symptoms, the Seattle angina scale scores, the angina score, the change of ECG, the change of blood pressure and the change of CRP^cTnl levels in both groups.Result:After treatment, CRP、CK-MB levels in two groups decresed, cTnI levels increased in the control group, and there were no significant in the within group and between the groups (P>0.05). The symptoms of angina were significantly improved in both groups, the integral of TCM syndrome was significantly decresed, the total effective rate reached more than90%, the comparision between groups was not significant (P>0.05). The angina score significantly decresed, and the intra group comparisions were statistically significant(P<0.05). But the comparisions between groups was not significant (P>0.05). The Seattle Angina Questionnaire scores as5items significantly increased in both groups. The steady state, angina pectoris of angina, and the treatment satisfaction were statistically significant(P<0.01, P<0.05). The comparisions between groups as5items were not significant (P>0.05). The changes of ECG were not significantly improved in both groups. The total effective rates in both groups were not high, and the total effective rate of the test group was not better than the control group. Comparisions between groups was not significant (P>0.05). Blood pressure of two groups decreased significantly. The intra group comparisions were statistically significant (P<0.05), but the comparisions between groups was not significant (P>0.05).Conclusion:Combining the external use of Xiebai sticking points of Xinshu, Neiguan with western medicine for treating coronary heart disease can not only improve the symptoms of patients with coronary artery disease, but also the quality of life. And the clinical efficacy is significant and safe, and there is no side effect.
