Objective To investigate Three-Dimensionalultrasound reconstruction and magnetic resonance imagine (MRI) featuresin placenta previa complicated with placenta accrete, and to compare theirreliability. Methods The three-dimensional ultrasound reconstructionand MRI data of26patients were firstly diagnosed as placenta previa byultrasound, and all of them had the high risks of placenta increta (thepregnant age≥35years, multiple abortions, the history of cesareansection),were retrospectively analyzed and compared with the findings ofsurgery and pathological examination. Placenta previa complicated withplacenta accrete has some characteristic expressions in imageology. Theaccuracy, sensitivity and specificity of the three-dimensional ultrasoundreconstruction and MRI in the differential diagnosis of placenta previacomplicated with placenta accreta. Results Twenty-one patients havebeen proven to be Placenta Accrete after operation. The bloodshed amountwhile labour and postpartum of placenta previa complicated with placenta accrete about1800ml, significantly more than those without placentaaccrete. One of those patients whoes complicate with Placenta Accrete hadbeen cutted her womb. MRI correctly identified presence of placentaaccreta in17of26patients,and the accuracy, sensitivity and specificitywere65%,80%,20%,respectively and the data of the three-Dimensionalultrasound reconstruction were81%,89%,67%. Both comparisons showedno statistically significant difference (P>0.05). Conclusion Placentaprevia with placenta increta high-risk pregnant women complicated withhigh incidence of placenta implantation, It is a huge threat to the mother’slife safety at the time of termination of pregnancy. Both three-dimensionalultrasound reconstruction and MRI have fairly good sensitivity for prenataldiagnosis of placenta accrete, there is great diagnostic value for estimate ofthe operation difficulty and prognosis.
