| Objective:Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease is an important respiratorydiease. Because of its high morbidity; high mortality and heavy social economicburden, it has seriously affected the quality of life of patients. There are10millionpeople dead for COPD and50to100million people induced to deformity in Chinaevery year because of it.The study found all aspects of quality of life of patients withChronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease have declined. Therefore, quality of life isan effective method to evaluate the health level of patients with COPDcomprehensively, which can reflect individual’s physical function, psychologicalstatus, social life and so on. The aims of the study were find out the quality of life ofpatients with COPD, investigate its influencing factors and offer evidence forimproving it.Methods: A cross-sectional study was from2013March to2014March, in the FirstAffiliated Hospital of Dalian Medical University, Department of respiration of threehospitalized patients with stable COPD88as the object of study. The patientsgeneral condition questionnaire, St. George’s Respiratory Questionnaire (SGRQ),disease family burden scale (FBS), perceived social support scale (PSSS), anxiety scale(SAS),depression scale (SDS) were combined with interviews.Questionnaireswas by face to face interviews of the age, the education level is low in patientswith COPD, the remaining patients used self-administered form. Input andmanagement of data using SPSS17.0statistical software, using the mean±standarddeviation to describe the life quality measurement data using analysis of variance, ttest and comparison of differences in the quality of life of state, using multiple linearmain factors affecting the quality of life regression analysis.Results:One. Analysis of quality of life in patients with COPD88patients quality of life score and each part is respectively: a total of65.03±15.22,minimum32.47; symptom score68.47±17.63, minimum35.71; active part score71.77±18.62, minimum26.32; effects of partial score58.02±16.86, minimum23.33points.1. Different gender and age of quality of life in patients with COPDNo differences in the quality of life of patients with different gender COPD. In thequality of life of each individual score visible activity score in different age patientswith COPD had no significant difference (P>0.05), and the symptoms, effects ofpartial and total scores showed significant differences (P <0.05), and the older, poorer quality of life.2.Different economic income and quality of life in patients with COPDFamily income may also have an effect on the life quality of patients with COPD.Lower economic income, the greater effect of individual scores and the total scoreof. But the economic income and symptoms, the activities of these two individualscore had little effect. Two, Psychological, social support, disease burden and life quality of patients withCOPD correlation analysisThere is a strong association between quality of life and psychological status ofpatients with depression, anxiety. The more weight, quality of life is worse. Social support had little effect on the quality of life of COPD (P>0.05).There is a strong association between the burden of disease and quality of life inpatients with COPD, increasingly heavy burden of disease, the patient’s quality oflife is worse.Three.Analysis of factors affecting the quality of life in patients with COPD1. COPD patients quality of life (SQ) score of influence factor analysisThe influence factors of SQ patients COPD scores are age, economic burden, activities of daily living and depression state of mind. The older, the economicburden heavier, self ability of daily activities more small, more high degree ofdepression, the higher the score, the worse the quality of life.2. COPD patients quality of life (SQ) analysis of influence factors of symptomsEffect of COPD SQ in patients with single point factors including age, economicburden, depression. The older, the economic burden heavier, the higher the degree ofdepression, single symptom score higher, the quality of life is worse.3. COPD patients quality of life (SQ) analysis of the factors affecting the activitiesFactors affecting the activity of SQ in patients with COPD subscores are dailyactivities, family relationship, depression. The self ability of daily activities moresmall, because of the disease causes the relationship between family members lessharmonious, joint activity less communication between family members, the higherdegree of depression, the individual score is higher, the quality of life is worse.4. COPD patients quality of life (SQ) analysis of factors influencing the influenceThe influence factors of the COPD patients SQ influence subscores economicincome, activity, physical health, anxiety state. Lower economic income, heavierthe economic burden, more small self activity ability, the higher degree of anxiety, worse family members of physical health, the individual score is higher, the qualityof life is worse. Conclusion:1.Quality of life of patients with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease aregengrally low.2.Its influencing factors are age;economic income;psychologic factors;family burdenof disease;etc. |
