Polymerase chain reaction enzyme linked immunosorbentassay(PCR-ELISA)was used for detection of serum level of HBV DNA. Gene Arraywas used for detection of the distribution of HBV genotypes. ELISA was used fordetection of hepatitis B e antigen(HBeAg)and liver function was also examined. Results:The genotype B was206(47.89%), C was201(44.56%), B/C was20(4.43%), and theunknow was14(3.10%). Statistical analysis showed that the average age of patients withtype B is less than C (P <0.05). The proportion of Type B in ASC are significantly lowerthan in CSHB and CMHB. The proportion of Type C is the highest proportion in CSHB(P <0.01). The patients of type B had minimum HBV DNA level (P <0.05) in ASC. Thelevel of both alanine transaminase (ALT) and gamma glutamyl transpeptidase (GGT) intype C were higher than type B (P <0.01). The level of both total bilirubin(TBIL)andtotal bile acid(TBA)were higher than type B (P <0.05).ConclusionsGenotype B is the predominated genotype and genotype C is the second in Jinshan of Shanghai area. The average age of patients with type B is less than C.The damage toliver induced by genotype C is severe than that of genotype B. | Keywords/Search Tags: | chronic hepatitis B, HBV, genotype, serious hepatitis | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
