Fundamental treatment regiment was given to both groups and Chinese medicine health education was added to the treatment group. Observation time was set for3months. Patients’recognition of disease, attitude, behaviors, medication compliance and CAT score would be observed before and after group allocation.Results1.General condition analysis:100cases were recruited;99cases were completed in observation period,50cases for treatment group and49for control group,1case fall off.2. Intra-group scores comparison analysis in COPD recognition, attitude and behaviors before and after intervention:Score of COPD recognition, attitude and behaviors of treatment group after Chinese medicine health education was higher than before, and statistical significance could be seen(P<0.05). There was no significant improvement in scores of COPD recognition, attitude and behaviors in control group after fundamental treatment. The result had no statistical significance(P>0.05). It indicated that Chinese medicine education could improve patients’recognition for COPD, and attitude of life and disease, as a result to promote better health behaviors.3. Intra-group medication compliance score comparison analysis before and after intervention:Score of medication compliance of treatment group after Chinese medicine health education was higher than before, and statistical significance could be seen(P<0.05). There was no significant improvement in scores of medication compliance in control group after fundamental treatment. The result had no statistical significance(P>0.05). It indicated that Chinese medicine education could improve patients’medication compliance.4. Inter-group medication compliance score comparison analysis before and after intervention:Score of medication compliance of treatment group after Chinese medicine health education was higher than before, and statistical significance could be seen(P<0.05). It indicated that Chinese medicine education could improve patients’medication compliance.5. Intra-group CAT score comparison analysis:CAT score decreased after Chinese medicine education intervention, and statistical significance could be seen(P<0.05). There was no significant decrease in control group in CAT score after fundamental treatment, and the result had no statistical significance(P>0.05). It indicated that Chinese medicine education could improve symptoms of COPD patients.6. Inter-group CAT score comparison analysis after intervention:COPD symptom scores was lower than control group after Chinese medicine education, and statistical significance could be seen(P<0.05). It indicated that Chinese medicine education could improve patients’COPD symptoms.7. Inter-group scores of COPD recognition in different literacy level patients comparison analysis:After3months intervention, scores of treatment had increased, while no significant increase could be seen in control group, and there was statistical significance between the two groups (P<0.05), which indicated that after Chinese medicine health education, COPD recognition could be improved in different literacy level patients.8. Inter-group scores of medication compliance in different literacy level patients comparison analysis:Treatment group after3months intervention, patients with different literacy level had a better medication compliance score, while control group had no score increase, and there was statistical significance(P<0.05). This indicated that Chinese medicine health education could improve medication compliance in different literacy level patients.9. Two groups of patients stop smoking situation is, there was no statistically significant difference (P>0.05), the tips are unable to say there are differences between the two groups of quit smoking effect.ConclusionChinese medicine health education could improve disease recognition, attitude and behaviors in COPD patients, and to enhance medication compli ance and ameliorate symptoms. What’s more, patients with different liter acy level, Chinese medicine health education could improve their COPD rec ognition and medication compliance.
