Objective(1) Using microscopic quantitative method (MQM) to discriminate the origin of Flos Lonicerae Japonicaeand distinguish the different types of doped model.(2) To differentiate the growing area of Flos Carthami and to identify the doped model by MQM.(3) With MQM, we can distinguish the habitat of Flos Sophorae and discern the various types of doped model.MethodsAfter being powdered and filtered, the medicinal materials were dried to a constant weight. Adding the accurately weighed medical material power to the mixture mixed of agar and hydroxyethyl cellulose and kept in95℃water bath for10minutes. Then cooled it down into gel samples in ice water after being evenly mixed through vortex vibration. Each batch of material was made into3samples parallelly. To accomplish the temporary loading slide, we precisely sampled0.02mL samples on it with our self-made sampler, dropwised with Chloral hydrate solution, and then covered it with a cover slide. Every sample was made into8pieces in parallel. Then equably selected several visual fields (10x10) to observe from the samples and counted with a microscope. SPSS Statistical software was used to analyse the data.Results(1) There were significant differences among the three indexes of Flos Lonicerae Japonicae from three different producing areas, and so were Flos Lonicerae Japonicae and Flos Lonicerae. The minimum detection limit of the impurities of Non-plants and Non-medicinal parts was5%by this mean.(2) Three different origins of Flos Carthami have conspicuous differentia. The lowest detection thermal of Non-plants of this method was7%and has detected that the doping content of the sample was from60%to65%.(3) Three indicators of Flos Sophorae from three growing areas were different from each other, and so were the index of Flos Sophorae and Flos Sophorae Immaturus. The minimum detection thermal of Non-plants and Non-medicinal parts of this way was5%.ConelusionThe Microscopic quantitative method of multiple indexes can be used to present all sidedly the micro-characteristics of Flos Lonicerae Japonicae, Flos Carthami and Flos Sophorae. And it can also be used to classify and distinguish the producing areas, the same family of different herbs like Flos Lonicerae Japonicae and Flos Lonicerae, and the different flowering herbs like Flos Sophorae and Flos Sophorae Immaturus. What’s more, it can lay the foundations for improving the identification in medicinal plant flowers and the quality control level.
