A Noninvasive Technique, Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy, For The Of Baiban Ito Clinical Efficacy In Treated Vitiligo Lesion

Objectives1. The purpose of this study was to define confocal laser scanning microscopy features of vitiligo on different clinical stages.2.By using confocal laser scanning microscopy on skin; skin lesion, melanin granules quantity, changes in brightness and melanocyte dendrites, and inflammatory cell infiltration; can be detected in advance with more precision. This technology improves the clinical diagnostic process by allowing the vitiligo lesion to be judged visually, and enables real-time observation to see the efficacy of the treatment baibanl. In future the research of this technology will establish the new clinical standard and stages of vitiligo disease.Methods1. A total of138patients with a clinical diagnosis of vitiligo were included in this study by using CLSM to define of vitiligo on different clinical stages.2.92patients with vitiligo disease are chosen from the hospital to participate in this experiment. The patients are randomly divided into2groups; group with and without white granule No.l treatment; which the experiment will last for3months.4assessments will be scheduled starting the first day before treatment, and every4weeks afterward.Treatment group is required to orally intake dissolved baibanl3g twice per day, transfer factor capsules (TF)6mg three times per day. For external use mometasone furoate will be applying once a day to non-facial part, Tacrolimus will be applying twice a day on the facial area.No treatment group will only intake transfer factor (TF)6mg three times per day. For external use mometasone furoate will be applying once a day to non-facial part, Tacrolimus will be applying twice a day on the facial area.The contrast of the two groups will be monitored and recorded by CLSM to observe the differences of infiltration of inflammatory cells, melanin granule, and how well completed ring of melanocyte dendrites intersection formation has increased.Results 1.CLSM can define the different stages of vitiligo.2.baibanl treatment on vitiligo has significantly yielded a more effective result of recovery of melanocyte and improvement of inflammatory cells comparing to the western medicine.Conclusions1.CLSM can define the different stages of vitiligo.2.The use of Chinese medicine is clearly more effective than solely use of western medicine.
