The Clinical Research Of The Safety And Effectiveness Of Miantan Qiangzheng Patch On Bell’s Palsy

Objective：Through the Randomized clinical trials, observe and verify the clinical curativeeffect of miantan qianzheng Patch on Bell’s palsy (Qi deficiency and wind cold type), tofurther study miantan qianzheng Patch’ safety, so can provide a treatment of Bell’s palsyfor reference.Methods: According to the case inclusion of research criteriay choice the patients of72cases of Bell’s palsy (Qi deficiency and wind cold type), adopt design scheme of arandomized controlled observation, divided into the miantan qianzheng patch plusacupuncture group(36cases) and the routine acupuncture group(36cases). Were recordedthe House-Brackmann facial nerve grading scale level, symptoms and signs of quantizationtable, facial disability index (FDI) questionnaire to evaluate the efficacy before treatment,then recorded another once the same content at the end of the experiment and had a safetyevaluation by comparing the changes of the related laboratory index and the adversereactions of patients before the experiment and the end of the experiment.Results:(1) The general situation (gender, age),the severity and duration of twogroups of patients before the experiment showed no statistical difference (P>0.05).(2) Thequestionnaire score of House-Brackmann evaluation of facial nerve function grading scale,symptoms and signs of quantization table, facial disability index (FDI) in two groupsbefore and after treatment was statistically significant difference (P<0.05).(3) Theeffective rate of the miantan qianzheng patch plus acupuncture group was97.01%，and theeffective rate of the routine acupuncture group was88.60%. There was a statisticallysignificant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).(4) The questionnaire score ofHouse-Brackmann evaluation of facial nerve function grading scale, symptoms and signs of quantization table, facial disability index (FDI) in two groups after treatment was astatistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)During the period of observation in clinical experiment (14days),themiantan qianzheng patch plus acupuncture group can better improvement in patients withfacial paralysis disease than the routine acupuncture group,but the remote effect of the twogroups did not observe so do not know the conclusion.(2)The miantan qianzheng patchplus acupuncture and the routine acupuncture are all an effective treatment for Bell’s palsy,the total effective rate of the miantan qianzheng patch plus acupuncture group was97.01%and the routine acupuncture group was88.6%.(3)Two kinds of treatment are all safe.(4)Themiantan qianzheng patch can make the patients the freedom to choose time stuck with itmore convenient, not affected by hospital and doctors time limit; patients fear theacupuncture or syncope can choose the miantan qianzheng patch is attached to thetreatment of this disease by.（5）Acupuncture treatment of this disease has the advantage ofacupuncture according to the dialectic compare with that used alone the miantan qianzhengpatch.
