Study On The Correlation Between Psoriasis Area And Severity Index And Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor, Bcl-2, Caspase-14 | Posted on:2015-02-18 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | Country:China | Candidate:L Xu | Full Text:PDF | GTID:2284330431996560 | Subject:Pathology and pathophysiology | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | Objective: To investigate the correlation between psoriasis area and severityindex (PASI) and epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR), Bcl-2, Caspase-14.Methods: Patients with psoriasis vulgaris were treated in the outpatientdepartment of my collection in2012January to2012December, and randomsampling method has been used to select30cases. And6cases of normal skintissue. The histopathology Hematoxylin-eosin(HE) staining was used to observethe lesions of patients with psoriasis vulgaris and the normal skin keratinocytesand non keratinocytes characteristics; the Streptavidin-Peroxidase Immunohisto-chemistry(SP-IHC) method was used to test specimens of cytokines EGFR,Bcl-2and Caspase-14expression; application analysis of measuring imagesoftware IPP6.0results of quantitative analysis of gray staining correlationbetween immune group, finally statistical analysis software SPSS17.0has beenused to analysis the above indexes and psoriasis vulgaris PASI.Results: Analysisresults indicate that the skin lesions of patients with psoriasis vulgaris, the PASIscore and keratinocyte EGFR expression was highly correlated intensity(r=0.964, P<0.01), and the expression of Bcl-2(r=0.228, P<0.01) and Caspase-14(r=0.213, P<0.01) was weakly related to strength. EGFR, Caspase-14, Bcl-2three showed weak correlation between each other: EGFR and Caspase-14 expression were weakly correlated (r=0.191, P<0.01); EGFR and Bcl-2expression were weakly correlated (r=0.144, P<0.01); Bcl-2and Caspase-14expression were weakly correlated (r=0.223, P<0.01). EGF receptors werewidely positive/strong positive expression in psoriatic basal and spinous layer, there was significant difference with normal control group (P<0.01); Bcl-2in thebasal layer of staining in psoriatic patients was compared with the normalcontrol group the positive rate decreased, there was significant difference(P<0.01); In psoriatic skin Caspase-14was Low expressioned in stratum basale,it was not expressioned in parakeratosis position. The expression of caspase-14was strongly downregulated in stratum spinosum and stratum granulosum, therewas significant difference with normal control group (P<0.01). Conclusions:(1)Cytokines EGFR, Bcl-2and Caspase-14of the patients with psoriasis vulgarismight be involved in differently degrees in proliferation and differentiation ofkeratinocyte(KC).There was a close relationship between psoriasis vulgaris’PASI and EGFR, Bcl-2,Caspase-14;(2) There might be a coordinating rolebetween EGFR, Bcl-2and Caspase-14. | Keywords/Search Tags: | Psoriasis Vulgaris, PASI, EGFR, Bcl-2, Caspase-14 | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
