| Objective:to investigate whether serum vaspin concentration was associated with the blood pressure and urine albumin to creatine ratio (UACR) in hypertensive patients.Methods:We measured fasting serum vaspin concentration in89subjects with essential hypertension (49subjects with normal urine albumin to creatine ratio;40subjects with increased urine albumin to creatine ratio)and49sex-matched healthy control subjects using the enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay, measured the urine albumin to creatine ratio in kidney disease laboratory in xiangya hospital.To explore the correlations of serum vaspin concentration with blood pressure and UACR.Result:1. serum vaspin concentration was significantly lower in hypertensive subjects compared with the control subjects(P<0.05), serum vaspin concentration was significantly lower in hypertensive subjects with UACR compared with the hypertensive subjects without UACR。2.Spearson correlation analysis revealed that serum vaspin concentration was negatively related to SBPã€DBPã€UACR (r=-0.398, P<0.001; r=-0.507, P<0.001; r=-0.381, P<0.001), UACR was positively related to SBPã€DBPã€LDL-Cã€Hs-CRP (r=0.494,P<0.001; r=0.631, P<0.001; r=0.193, P=0.027; r=0.329, P=0.001)。3.multiple stepwise regression analysis revealed that BMI〠fasting plasma glucoseã€vaspinã€Hs-CRP were significantly and independently associated with SBP (β=1.788,8.6,-1.371,1.068; P=0.000,0.000,0.000,0.045). BMIã€vaspinã€fasting plasma glucose were significantly and independently associated with DBP (β=1.191,-1.46,4.285; P=0.000,0.000,0.006); DBPã€vaspinwere significantly and independently associated with UACR(p=0.064,-0.063; P=0.000,0.009).Conclusion:1. Serum vaspin concentration is negatively related to SBP and DBP in essential hypertensive subjects.2.Serum vaspin concentration is negatively related to UACR in essential hypertensive subjects3. Serum vaspin concentration may be a assess index of blood pressure and a predictor of UACR in essential hypertension. |
