The Study On The Current Situation And The Strategy Of Practicing Pharmaceutical Care In County Hospitals Of Xinjiang

Objective:The aim is to understand the status of practicing pharmaceutical care in county hospitals of Xin jiang, to found out the pharmacist’s opinion about practicing pharmaceutical care and to learn about physician and patient’s awareness and needs of pharmaceutical care and to explore the existing problems and difficulties and to propose the solutions. Methods:(1) Literature method:in the Chinese HowNet, Wanfang database, respectively with the keywords pharmaceutical care, hospital pharmacy management, hospital pharmacy", search access to domestic and foreign literature, progress at home and abroad about pharmaceutical care research methods and analysis;(2) Interview:pharmacy departments of48hospitals at the county level is responsible for the interview and10pharmacists, to understand the hospital pharmacy service development situation and difficulties;(3) Questionnaire survey:The whole group pharmacist of Xinjiang68county hospitals was surveyed. The content includes:the basic situation of pharmacy, phanrmaceutical care cognition, identity, the quality of their own views and opinions on the factors of obstacles to the implementation of the pharmaceutical care. Some doctors and patients, according to the north and south, east of the region, randomly selected2county hospitals, each hospital choose35-40physicians and patients were investigated, the investigation content:basic information, awareness of pharmaceutical care and the needs of pharmaceutical care. Results:(1)Professional pharmacists are mostly diploma education specialist Junior titles;(2)Pharmaceutical care project is very few, mainly includes:dispensing drugs, checking prescription and medical advice, analyzing prescription;(3)The concept of pharmaceutical care is received by pharmacists;(4)The acknowledge of the content service subject,and object of pharmaceutical care is poor, and there are differences in cognitive level among different people, the higher degree the acknowledge better, higher professional title the acknowledge better;(5)Pharmaceutical care in the county hospital face many difficulties, mainly pharmacy technicians own professional quality, lack of preparation, pharmaceutical care laws, regulations missing;(6)The physician and patient are on the high demand of pharmaceutical care, but little understanding of pharmaceutical care, lack of trust for pharmacist. Conclusions:The pharmaceutical care is at the initial stage,the services fewer, the public is lack of trust for pharmacists.Strategy:Recommend the pharmacy departments strengthen the continuing education to improve the overall quality of service personnel; The relevant departments of the state promulgat the law on pharmaceutical care; County Hospital investment increase on pharmacy; Department of pharmacy and medicine, nursing, strengthening with effective communication, propaganda pharmacy service.
