ObjectiveThis paper aims at quickly summarizing the medical equipment, enhancingaccounting compliance rate, improving the level of controlling quality, looking upa new method for medical information technology and promoting themanagement of medical equipment.MethodsWith the using of Radio Frequency Identification Technology (RFID), thepaper supposed to establish a database of medical equipment, putting upelectronic medical equipment custom labels, and develop a radio-based radiofrequency identification technology information management system. Thesystem consists of hospital medical equipment assets quality controllingsystems and a information management system, achieving that rapid inventoryof hospital medical equipment and quality controlling information could bereached as soon as possible, and the function of automatic measurementacquisition, transmission, storage, statistical analysis and information real-timequery.Using epidemiological and statistical methods to study the patientpopulation of CT.ResultsBefore the using of radio frequency identification technology, summarizingthe neurology medical equipment inventory would cost two staff for two wholedays, while after the application of information technology, it would cost a single person amazingly only15minutes, in line with the rate of medical assets alsoincreased from86.3%to99.1%.The results of the data analysis of a hospitalpatient CT examination showed: The positive rate of examination of patients ofdifferent ages, not gender, different CT equipment is significantly different.ConclusionsBy introducing RFID technology, hospital equipment management achievedthe rapid inventory of medical equipment hospital unit, asset managementefficiency improved by several times, so that it would improve the compliancerate of hospital medical equipment with normalized periodic inventory of medicalequipment. Medical equipment based on the measurement of radio frequencyidentification technology would change quality controlling informationmanagement system application to digital method from paper-based method.With efficient using of information management system, the hospital wouldquickly summarize the medical equipment, and get the quality information ofmedical equipment. The management staff of hospital could improve theirworking efficiency and establish a system of medical equipment management,which makes great contribution to medical equipment management.Medical equipment to ensure accurate statistical quality control, while themedical device systems for program management to ensure the accuracy of thebasis for the diagnosis and treatment of CT equipment to check the crowd andother information for statistical analysis, to guide the direction and developmentof hospital discipline equipment with emphasis.
