| Objective:To understand the occurrence rate, risk factors of occupational exposure and analysis the correlation with job satisfaction, investigate the mental health of medical worker after occupational exposure, then enhance the medical workers prevention-consciousness and reduce the occurrence of occupational exposure. Methods: By using questionnaires with random sampling method,514valid questionnaires of580were backed from a tertiary hosptal hospital in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region. This study were surveyed and analysised by questionnaires with the risk occupational exposure, the knowledge of occupational exposure, SCL-90table and Overall Job Satisfaction from retrospective investigation between one year. Results:1. The number of needle stick injuries exposure was236(45.9%) in514medical workers, sharp injury exposure was239(46.5%), the times of them focused on2-5times. Different medical workers were significant difference in occurance and risk of needle stick injuries and sharp injury, at the same time, the nurse were lead in the exposure and times in the two aspects, contact disinfection sterilization agent was higher too.2. Male doctors needle stick injuries occurred exposure number higher than that of women, women had sharp injury than men; The lower and the shorter the length of doctor service, professional titles, the more needlestick and sharps injuries occur, the nurse of worked5-10years happened fewer sharp injury, the lower of nurse professional titles, the more sharps injuries occur, all P<0.05.3. Most of the medical workers’personnel protective behavior was not very good, knowledge of which were mainly from school education. Once exposed, most of them could wash with water and extruse the blood from the damage.4. The self-evaluation of health psychology in medical staff was poorer than the national average condition, and the nurse situation was worse than the other medical staff; Doctors and nurses who had a needle stick injuries were poorer in self-evaluation of health psychology in somatization, forced symptoms, depression of SCL-90than un-exposured of needle stick injuries (P<0.05).5. Medical staff was statistically significant difference in various aspects of job satisfaction(P<0.05). The nurse was lower in dealings with colleagues and work itself satisfaction and clinical interns was lower in managers’satisfaction. Length of service in5-10years and the attending physician respectively was lower than other doctors in the work’satisfaction and colleagues communication satisfaction. Minority nurses on job satisfaction was lower than the han nationality, whether doctor has the sharp injury in the presence of needle stick injuries, the job satisfaction of salary, work itself and promotion was statistically significant differences(P<0.05). If the nurse of the sharp injury and needle stick injuries or not, in addition to the job satisfaction of work itself found differences statistically significant (P<0.05), all the other aspects of no statistical difference.6. Multiariable analysis found that many factors influence the medical staff occupational exposure and mental health. Conclusion:Occupational exposures affect medical staff mental health, In addition to strengthen the training of medical staff occupational safety and occupational protection, it is also very important to improve their job satisfaction and psychological health education after occupational exposure individual through various channels, like this, then we can reduce the occupational exposure, protect the physical and mental health of medical workers. |
