Objective:To compare the expression of P-catenin protein and ABCG-2protein in the different types of uterine sarcoma, hysteromyoma and normal myometrium, aiming at discussing the function of β-catenin protein and ABCG-2protein in the pathogenesis of uterine sarcoma.Methods:The elivison SP Two-Step method were used to detect the expression of β-catenin protein and ABCG-2protein in the sarcoma of uterine at different90cases, which to compare for the expression of different pathological types of uterine sarcoma, malignant degrees and clinical stages of uterine sarcoma. And expression rate of both proteins was correlation analyzed.Rusult:1.The positive expression rate of β-catenin protein and ABCG-2protein in sarcoma of uterus are separately87%and82%with the expression levels(4.9±2.86)and(3.84±2.58).The positive expression rate of β-catenin protein and ABCG-2protein in cellular uterine leiomyoma are separately3.3%and6.7%with the expression levels (0.20±0.81) and (0.20+±0.81). The positive expression rate of P-catenin protein and ABCG-2protein in normal uterine smooth muscle tissue are both3.3%with the expression levels (0.067±0.305)and(0.07±0.305). The positive expression rate of β-catenin protein and ABCG-2protein in sarcoma of uterus is significantly higher than that in cellular uterine leiomyoma and normal uterine smooth muscle tissue. And the differences are statistically significant (P<0.05). However, the differences between the expression rate is not statistically significant in leiomyoma of the uterus and normal uterine smooth muscle tissue (P>0.05).2.The positive expression rate of P-catenin protein and ABCG-2protein in leiomyoma of the uterus are separately87%and83%with the expression levels (4.93±2.86) and (3.6±2.12).The positive expression rate of β-catenin protein and ABCG-2protein in endometrial stromal sarcoma are separately80%and77%with the expression levels (4.80±3.30) and (3.2±2.13). The differences between the positive expression rate is not statistically significant in leiomyoma of the uterus, endometrial stromal sarcoma and uterine carcinosarcoma (P>0.05).3.The positive expression rate of β-catenin protein and ABCG-2protein in sarcoma of uterus in stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ are separately74%and65%with the expression levels (3.28±0.20) and (2.94±0.47). The positive expression rate of β-catenin protein and ABCG-2protein in sarcoma of uterus in stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ are separately98%and93%with the expression levels (7.15±0.21) and (4.39±0.32). The positive expression rate of β-catenin protein and ABCG-2protein in sarcoma of uterus in stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ is much higher than that in stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ, and the discrepancy has no statistical significance (P<0.05) 4. The positive expression rate of high grade malignant endometrial stromal sarcom is91%, with the expression level (6.91±0.78).Conclusion:1. The expression of β-catenin protein and ABCG2protein play an important role in the development of sarcoma of uterus.2. There are no statistically differences between β-catenin protein and ABCG2protein expression in the different types of sarcoma of uterine, and low grade and high grade malignant endometrial stromal sarcoma. It is shows that β-catenin protein and ABCG-2protein display no obvious relationship in sarcoma of uterus pathological types and the degree of malignancy.3. The expression of β-catenin protein and ABCG-2protein in sarcoma of uterus in stage Ⅲ-Ⅳ is much higher than in stage Ⅰ-Ⅱ, which shows that both proteins are associated with the severity of the disease.4. The expression of P-catenin protein and ABCG-2protein in uterine sarcoma is positively related, showing that both may synergistically promote the occurrence and development of uterine sarcoma.
