| The incidence of atherosclerosis in patients with chronic kidneydisease was significantly higher than in the general population, theoccurrence of cardiovascular events has become the main cause of death inESRD patients.At present, the occurrence of atherosclerosis in uremicpatients is attributed to malnutrition, the way of blood purificationtreatment, hyperhomocysteinemia, microinflammatory state and genepolymorphisms.This article will review the progress of pathogenesis andprevention and treatment of atherosclerosis in uremia. |
