Objective:To study Wumeitang combined with mesalazine and mesalazine treatment for ulcerative colitis mixed cold and heat syndrome disease activity and symptoms affecting the efficacy comparison. Methods:TCM included31cases of cold and heat syndrome patients with ulcerative colitis were randomly divided into two groups, the treatment group received oral mesalazine ebony Tonga and the United States, the control group, only oral mesalazine treatment. Before beginning treatment, treatment for3months, respectively, statistical lesion activity points symptom score and some laboratory parameters during treatment in June, before and after each course of treatment, the change in circumstances between the two groups above, analysis of two treatment regimens for the improvement of cold and heat syndrome ulcerative colitis activity, symptoms and laboratory indicators of whether there are differences. Results:The treatment group than the control group in the improvement of activity score faster onset (treatment group in March and June activity score before treatment P<0.05, in the control group in March when P>0.05). But the two groups at3months of treatment and at6months showed no difference in comparison, showed only with prolonged treatment (treatment3-6months), to improve the activity score of statistically significance (P<0.05). In the shorter duration of treatment (3months of treatment), compared to pre-treatment for the two groups showed no significant change in symptom improvement (P>0.05) in. When the course of the extension (for6months), compared to the two groups before treatment for symptom improvement were seen significant changes (P<0.01), improvement of symptoms and the treatment group than the control group (P<0.05). When prolonged treatment (treatment from March to June), the treatment group and the control group of patients in terms of improvement in symptom scores were significance (P<0.01). After3months of treatment, the clinical onset was no significant difference (P>0.05). After treatment in June, the total effective clinical treatment group was93.75%in the control group was73.33%, compared statistically significant (P<0.05) treatment group response rate than the control group. Coagulation indicators PLT, PT, FIB was statistically significant (P group before and after treatment comparison<0.05) in the observation group showed no statistical significance (P>0.05). CRP was statistically significant (P<0.05) was observed in the treatment group and the comparison group. The ESR in the control group was statistically significant (P<0.05), no significant difference in the treatment group (P>0.05). PT, CRP was statistically significant in the treatment group3,6month comparison (P<0.05).Conclusion:ebony soup joint mesalazine treatment of ulcerative colitis compared to simply using mesalamine, to accelerate the clinical onset time, improve disease activity, symptom score and some laboratory parameters, improve clinical efficiency.
