| Objective:To evaluate the clinical effect of Moxibustion in treating hyperlipidemia and the quality level of the evidence to decide whether to recommend moxibustion therapy as a routine therapy in the treatment of hyperlipidemia.Methods:First,search the randomized controlled trials involving moxibustion for hyperlipemia from the databases ncluding The Cochrane Library’,’PubMed’,’EMBASE’.’Web of Science’,’CBM’and’VIP’(include degree thesis and conference papers).Remove the duplicate retrieved or published papers.Select the ones which meet the inclusion and exclusion criteria.Then,according to the steps of systematic review provided from the Cochrane Collaboration,evaluate the quality of each study respectively and use the results of which have good homogeneity for Meta-analysis.Choose efficiency,TG,TC and LDL-C as outcomes.Finally,evaluate the quality of the evidence and recommendation based on the GRADE system.Results:A total of10trials involving556patients were included.The quality of10trials was low.The results of Meta-analysis showed:1.Moxibustion in the treatment of hyperlipidemia with efficiency and effect of decreasing LDL-C is better than that of Shanzha Jiangzhi tablets’,but compared with the diet control,’Xuezhikang Capsule’and statins, there has no significant difference.2.The reduction of TG, TC of moxibustion therapy was better than the diet control and’ Shanzha Jiangzhi tablets’,but compared with the blank group and’Xuezhikang Capsule’and statins,there was no significant difference between.GRADE system evaluation results suggest that the current overall level of evidence is lower.Conclusion:We should be cautious to the results of this systematic review due to the low quality of included trials.Although the overall quality of evidence is low,we still recommend to use moxibustion as a adjuvant therapy in the treatment of hyperlipidemia because of its no side effect,simple operation,low price and the advantages of the patients are willing to accept. |
