Expression And Significance Of TLR4in Patients With HIVrelated KS

Objective:To investigate the expression of Toll-like receptor4mRNA levels Expression in KS and normal tissues. Methods:Totally35KS tissues including26HIV-KS and9classic KS from May2011to July2013in the frist affiliated hospital of Xin Jiang Medical university and Xinjiang Infectious disease hospital were collected. All tissues were diagnosed by pathology analysis.Real time PCR and immunohistochemical were used to detect the expression and location of Toll-like receptor4in different groups. Results:Expression of TLR4mRNA in tumor tissues of KS patients were lower than that in normal tissues (P=0.0017). Meanwhile,there was significant difference between classic KS and normal tissues(P=0.0497).Difference between HIV-KS and normal tissues was also significantly.(p=0.0054).However,no significant difference was observed between the classical KS and HIV-KS(P=0.46). Protein levels:HIV-KS and classic KS tissue express Ras,Raf,ERK,IκB-α, P50, P65higher than normal tissue*p<0.05, there was a significant difference, No significant differences between HIV-KS and classic KS. The remaining protein expression was no significant difference between normal and KS.ConcIusion: Low expression of TLR4and the occurrence and development of HIV-KS are closely related.
