Objective: To compare and evaluate percutaneous nephrolithotomy surgery and opensurgery in the treatment of renal calculus in the clinical value. Methods: A retrospective analysis of clinical data---50patients who underwentpercutaneous nephrolithotomy and36patients who open surgery for patients of renalcalculi. The patients of renal calculi who were diagnosed with the KUB+IVP, US,CT meet theenrollment and exclusion criteria. The two groups of patients have nosignificant differences in age, calculisize, distribution and in the degree ofhydronephrosis before surgery. After anaverage of the two groups were comparedoperative time, mean operative blood loss, postoperative hospital stay, postoperativecomplications, stone clearance rates of such comparative analysis of the data weresummarized. Results: Percutaneous nephrolithotomy group and the open surgery group intheoperation time, blood loss, postoperative hospital stay comparison of the timewerestatistically significant (P<0.05), with a=0.05as Test level can be consideredpercutaneous nephrolithotomy group, operation time, blood loss, postoperativehospitalstay.Percutaneous nephrolithotomy and open stone surgery group time in thegravel, agravel success, postoperative complications showed no statistical significance.(P>0.05).Conclusions: To compare open surgical operation in treatment of renalcalculi,Percutaneous nephrolithotomy has Characteristics of convenient workingchannels, positioning accuracy, and a completeclearance of calculi in first stageoperation. Besides, it has the advantages of shorteroperation time, shorterpostoperative hospital stay, less bleeding and quicker recovery. It also can be repeatedseveral times. ultrasonic percutaneous nephrolithotomy should be the best surgicalway for treatment of kidney nephrolithiasis.
