Clinical Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Acupuncture In The Treatment Of Facial Neuritis With Thunder Fire Moxibustion

ObjectivesFacial paralysis is the most common disease of the facial nerve, the main clinical manifestations of the side of the cheek muscle relaxants, such as the amount of grain, nasolabial shallow or disappear, incomplete eyelid closure, mouth twisted to the contralateral, ipsilateral do not frown, frown, exposed teeth, drum gills and other activities. In everyday life, although the disease is no threat to life, but because of the onset of the process, there will be loss of patient’s face and alter the normal function of the external image and so on, often to the patient’s physical and psychological pain and bring great impact. This study was based on rigorous, standardized clinical design, based on comparison with acupuncture and moxibustion thunder fire with ordinary Ai Qing binding of acupuncture before and after treatment of the disease signs, symptoms change, and to explore the clinical thunder fire treated with acupuncture and moxibustion facial neuritis efficacy for clinical treatment of facial paralysis to provide more methods or means.MethodsSelected 60 cases with complete clinical data, both in Longyan First Hospital acupuncture and neurology on governance, meet the diagnostic criteria for facial paralysis, the inclusion and exclusion criteria, such as screening was derived randomly divided into treatment group and the control group (30 cases).Zhao thunder fire moxibustion treatment group were treated with acupuncture and the control group were treated with acupuncture Ai Qing general, both groups 1 day, rest one day a week for four weeks for a course of treatment. Were recorded for each patient before treatment and facial nerve function H-B grading after a course of treatment, SFGS static symmetry score and SFGS voluntary movement symmetry. Through the collection of data collation and analysis using SPSS 16.0 statistical software for data analysis and processing, to determine statistical significance.Results1. Two groups of patients age, course of diseases by t test P> 0.05, gender by the chi-square (P> 0.05), no statistically significant difference between the two sets of data, and comparable. Both thunder fire moxibustion combined with acupuncture and ordinary Ai Qing combined with acupuncture can improve the symptom of the patients, the treatment group,10 cases were cured,12 cases were markedly effective, effective 7 cases,1 cases ineffective, the total effective rate was 96.67%, markedly effective rate was 73.33%; Control group cure 6 cases,10 cases were markedly effective, effective in 11 cases, ineffective in 3, the total effective rate was 90.00%, markedly effective rate was 53.33%. The treatment group compared with control group, its curative effect through statistical tests, with statistical significance (P< 0.05), the treatment group curative effect is superior to the control group.2. After a course of treatment, the changes observed indicators thunder fire moxibustion combined with acupuncture group Ai Qing ordinary acupuncture combined group, the statistical test, the difference was statistically significant (P ＜0.01), compared the efficacy of the treatment group better efficacy in the control group.ConclusionThe results show that:thunder fire combine acupuncture with moxibustion Ai Qing ordinary facial paralysis treated with acupuncture are effective, but the thunder fire treated with acupuncture and moxibustion effect than ordinary Ai Qing combination of acupuncture treatment is better. There are indeed cut clinical efficacy, the cure rate is high, safe and effective, worthy of clinical use.
