Objective: By immune histochemical method(SP method) and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)to detect transforming growth factor beta1(TGF-β1)and epidermal growth factor(EGF)in adult hypertrophic scars expression, and statistical analysis to explore TGF-β1 and EGF in adult hypertrophic scars may occur in the role,to provide a basis evidence for clinical prevention. Methods: Adult hypertrophic scars collecting clinical specimens of 48 patients(excluding the use of excessive hormones, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, infection, etc.) during April 2014 to August 2014,and collected discarded earlier surgery adult normal skin tissue 21 cases. With SP method and ELISA method for the quantitative detection of TGF-β1 and EGF in adult hyperplastic scar and expression in normal adult skin, using statistical analysis software SPSS 13.0.Results:1.TGF-β1 expression was 19.04%(4/21) in normal adult skin, hypertrophic scars in adults in expression was 54.17%(26/48);TGF-β1 in normal adult skin and adults hypertrophic scars compare expression levels with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05);2.EGF expression was 23.81%(5/21)in normal adult skin, hypertrophic scars in adults in expression was 60.42%(29/48);EGF in normal adult skin and adults hypertrophic scars compare expression levels with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05);3.TGF-β1 and EGF expression level in adult hypertrophic scars in a positive correlation(SP:R=0.362,P=0.012;ELISA:R=0.330,P=0.017).Conclusions:1.TGF-beta 1 expression positive rate is high in adult hyperplastic scar;2.EGF expression positive rate is high in adult hyperplastic scar;3.TGF-beta 1 and EGF was a positive correlation in the expression level of hyperplastic scar.
