Objective: In recent years, the academic circles at home and abroad had done lots of correlation research on CRP and periodontitis, and verified the important correlation between the two. Some foreign scholars had made a preliminary study on the correlation between DPd and alveolar bone resorption.In aspects of the etiology, pathogenic microbes, pathogenesis and remedy,there were many similaritiy between lesions around the implant and periodontitis. The tissue infection around the implant and alveolar bone loss were the typical cause clinical manifestations. With the analysis of the etiology and development course on peri-implant disease, it could be infered that the detection of serum CRP and urine DPd had significance to the peri-implant disease. In the therapy of oral implant, We had not verified the relationship between serum CRP and urine DPd by study, and domestic and foreign academic circles had never reported about that. Therefore, through the detection of CRP and DPd levels after implantation, we could further understand the change characteristics of the two indicators.After excluding the interfering factors,we could further clarify the relationship among the serum CRP,urine DPd and peri-implantis. And we could further analyzed the probability of two indexes, whether they could be used as evaluation of tissue health around implant.Methods :1 We collected 86 cases of implant restoration in patients with the age between 25-45 years old, control, except for periodontitis and chronic disease with multi systems. Then tested serum CRP and urine DPd of the patients in the day of surgery before operation, 1 months after the operation and half year after operation.These cases were made as the experimental group.There were 6 patients with peri implantitis,who appeared in the experimental group. Their blood and urine samples were immediately collected. The data were processed separately.2 The control group was divided into positive and negative control group.The positive control group was peri implantitis group. Dring the study period, diagnosis of 20 cases of patients with peri implantitis was used as positive control group,and we tested this group of patients for immediate serum CRP and urine DPd.At the same time, The clinical score was achieved according to the standard of diagnosis of inflammation around the implant. The negative control group was healthy crowd. Randomly selected in accordance with the inclusion criteria of healthy adult 60 cases as the negative control group,and detected serum CRP and urine DPd.Results :1 Through the analysis of the data, serum CRP of 1 months postoperatively compared with the day of surgery before operation, increased significantly. Postoperative half year measured serum CRP showed a downward trend(P<0.05), it could be considered to exist significant difference between three groups of population mean.Through the comparison between the groups, we found that the postoperative serum CRP data for 1 months and the other two groups existed obvious difference(P<0.05). Half a year after operation serum CRP data was higher than the day of surgery before operation sets of data, but they had no statistical significance(P>0.05). For the day of surgery before operation and 1 months after operation and 6 months postoperative urinary DPd statistical analysis, we could found that the data of the day of surgery before operation group was the lowest and 1 months after surgery group was the highest(P<0.05). There was statistical difference between the three groups of the overall mean.Further for the S-N-K method,we could find that there were significant differences between preoperative group and two postoperative groups(P<0.05). Postoperative urinary DPd data of the two groups was not significant difference(P>0.05). Serum CRP and DPd in urine by statistical analysis was positively correlation(P<0.001)。2 The experimental data sets were compared with the control group. The CRP, DPd content of the experimental group with implantitis and CRP, DPd content of positive control group was significantly higher than the negative control group data. There were statistically significant(P<0.05).Between the first two groups showed no statistical difference(P>0.05). By comparing the experimental group of non implantitis with the control group, we could find CRP in the experimental group and negative control group had no significant difference(P>0.05), The experimental group CRP data and positive group had statistical significance(P<0.05). The experimental group of DPd data and the negative control group showed no significant difference(P>0.05), The experimental group and positive group had statistical significance(P<0.05).Conclusions :1 In the Implant restoration process, serum CRP and urine DPd content would increase, when the absorption and remodeling of alveolar bone was in the active stage. There was a significant correlation between the two indexes.2 The content of serum CRP and urine DPd would increase, if suffering peri implantitis. The two indicators were related to the occurrence and development of peri implantitis.But the diagnosis significance of the two indicators still needed further study with large samples confirmed.
