Objective Discussion on viral myocarditis(VMC) mice apoptosis (Cell apoptosis) and the impact of Astragalus injection of caspase-3 (Caspase-3) activity. Methods 4-6 week-old male Balb/c mice were randomly divided into five groups:A: control group (n= 12), Group B:model control group (n= 12), Group C:Astragalus treatment low-dose group (n= 12), D group:Astragalus treatment middle-dose group (n= 12) and group E: Astragalus treatment of high-dose group (n= 12). In the3,7,10,14 days take the mice’s heart and serum samples for pathological examination, Caspase-3 expression activity detection, creatine kinase MB (CK-MB) and cardiac troponin I (cTnI) value the testing. Results ① The myocardial pathological integral, CK-MB, cTnI value of group B mice is significantly higher than group A (P< 0.05);② C, D, E group of Caspase-3 activity, CK-MB, cTnI value, myocardial pathological integral and mortality rate in mice were significantly lower than that of group B (P< 0.05);③ C, D, E group each group of mice mortality, myocardial pathological integral, and the level of serum myocardial enzyme Caspase-3 activity there was no significant difference (P> 0.05).Conclusion ① apoptosis is involved in viral myocarditis occur myocardial injury in mice, Caspase-3 in which play an important role;② small doses of astragalus membranaceus injection can cut myocardial cell Caspase-3 activity by reducing viral myocarditis mice cardiomyocytes apoptosis, Reduce the myocardial cell damage, Improve the quality of the survival of mice.
