Objective To observe the levels of serum CA125 and NT-pro BNP before and aft er implatation of CRT and study the feasibility of them as an evaluation of the e fficacy of CRT.Methods 51 meeting class I indications patients with chronic heart failure(CHF),28 men and 27 women, who never received regular treatment were selected from inp atients received by Cardiology Department of ANHUI PROVINCIAL HOSPITAL between July 2013 and December 2014. According to the cardiac function standard of New York Heart Association, there were14 patients belonged to classⅡ, 30 p atients belonged to classⅢ,and 7 patients belonged to class Ⅳ. Based on wheth er received treatment of CRT, the patients were classified to two groups.23 patie nts in CRT group and 28 patients in control group. The patients are all received sustained and substandard anti-HF drugs. In addition, the CRT group patients we re received implatation of CRT.The left ventricular lead was implanted in latherier v ein or latherier posterior vein. The concentrations of NT-pro BNP and CA125 from all thepatients’ serum were respectively measured before and 3 months and 6 mo nths after implatation by the method of ELISA. In the meantime, the indicators i nclude echocardiogram’s Left Ventricular End-Diastolic Dimension(LVEDD),Lef t Ventricular Ejection Fraction(LVEF),Left Ventricular End Systolic Volume(LVES V) were measured and statistical analyzed.RESULTS Both two groups’ fundamental data include sex, age, etiology, liver function and kidney functions, the NYHA grading and medication, and indicators include NTpro-BNP,CA125,LVEDD,LVEF and LVESV had no statistical difference(p>0.05). That is, they are comparable. The comparison results provide that the CRT group’s concentrations of NTpro BNP,CA125,LVEDD and LVESV in 3 m onths and 6 months after the operation are all lower than that of control group(p<0.05). Moreover, the CRT group’s concentrations of those indicators in 6 months aft er the operation are obviously lower than that in 3 months after the operation(p<0.05). The comparison results also provide that the CRT group’s concentrations of L VEF in 3 months and 6 months after the operation are all higher than that of contr ol group(p<0.05). Moreover, the CRT group’s concentrations of those indicators i n 6 months after the operation are obviously higher than that in 3 months after th e operation(p<0.05).Conclusion Some meeting indications patients with CHF can benefit from implant ation of CRT. The cardiac function indicator can be improved. It is effective to a nalyze the concentration variation of patients’ NT-pro BNP and CA125 to evaluate t he clinical effects of CRT.
