| Objective To investigate the effect on perioperative blood loss by using temperature interventions in total hip replacement.Method Between August 2013 and October 2014, 60 patients(60 hips)treated in our hospital with uncement THA are randomized into two groups and30 hips is in each group. Temperature intervention group maintains the temperature of patients more than 36℃ by controllable electric blanket, preheating input liquid and so on. Control group is dealed without special handling. The drainage tube is pulled out in 48- 72 hours after operation and evaluate intraoperative and postoperative blood loss, preoperative and postoperative hemoglobin and the rate of transfusion.Result The intraoperative and postoperative blood loss of patients from temperature intervention group are lower than that of patients from the control group and the difference was significant( P<0.05). The Hemoglobinconcentrations of patients from temperature intervention group is higher than that of patients from control group, and the difference is significant( P<0.05).The number and ratio of patients with blood transfusion of patients from temperature intervention group areapparently lower than that of patients from control group, and the difference is significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Temperature interventions can obviously reduce the intraoperative, postoperative blood loss and the ratio of blood transfusion in total hip replacement. |
