Objective To explore the infection status and the characteristics of distribution of the Severe fever with hrombocytopenia syndrome(SFTS) and Human granulocytic anaplasmosis(HGA) in Lujiang,to clarify whether there are new SFTSV and HGA natural foci in Lujiang County,and to provide scientific basis for prevention and treatment of the diseases.Methods Cases of SFTS and HGA Data from January 2009 to June 2014 were collected and analyzed. Cluster random sampling method was adopted, Select a town, NI- HE town, where one SFTS case occurred. Use cluster random sampling method, 2 villages where near by the case home were randomly selected. According to the principle of informed consent, 100 serum samples of villagers in rural area and 15 livestock samples of serum and gore were collected. Double antibody sandwich was used to detect the antibody level of SFTSV. Indirect fluorescence assay was used to detect the antibody level of HGA. Nested PCR was used to detect the HGA 16 S r RNA Gene and Real-time RT-PCR was used to detect SFTSV nucleic acids.Results 16 SFTS cases and 1 HGA case were reported from January 2009 to June 2014. They were mainly in middle-aged. Female cases were more than male cases. The peak season incidence of SFTS and HGA were summer and autumn. Cases occurred sporadically, no aggregation epidemic situation. Among those 100 serum samples of human, antibody positive rate of HGA reached 24%. Antibody positive rate of SFTSV was 0. Among those 15 serum samples of livestock, number of SFTSV antibody positive was 6 and number of SFTSV nucleic acids positive was 0. Number of HGA antibody positive was 0 and number of HGA 16 S r RNA gene positive was 9. Of the positive samples, number of SFTSV antibody positive and HGA 16 S r RNA gene positive was 5.Conclusions Rural areas of Lujiang coumty are the endemic area of SFTS and HGA. The infections were found in natural human population and livestock. Livestock may be host animals. Monitoring、the propaganda of knowledge, training the doctors and rapid diagnostic ability should be enhanced.
