| ObjectiveDiabetes mellitus (Diabetes Mellitus, DM) is now in the world one of the highest incidence of metabolic diseases, its remarkable physicochemical characteristics as elevated plasma glucose. In recent decades, the prevalence of diabetes in China increasing number of traditional Chinese medicine, prevention and treatment of diabetes is generally carried out. My tutor on observation on years of clinical, combined with historical literature, Li Yin for the law, with Zhibai Dihuang Decoction on the treatment of hyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiency of type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) and improving insulin resistance has obtained the certain effect. This topic design objective for evaluating Zhibai Dihuang Decoction for hyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiency was the main syndrome in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus TCM Hou Gaishan, blood glucose control, insulin resistance treatment, and to explore the Zhibai Dihuang Decoction in the treatment of hyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiency of type 2 diabetes possible pathway and mechanism, effectiveness, safety evaluation of nourishing yin method for the treatment of type 2 diabetes, and to further guide clinical.MethodsThe object of this study is the hyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiency in patients with type 2 diabetes, using the method of prospective single blind randomized controlled trial, the subjects will be divided into the control group (routine treatment plus metformin tablets) and treatment group (routine treatment plus metformin+Zhibai Dihuang Decoction,50 cases in each group). Two groups of observation period of 2 months. Study on the observation of the two groups of TCM symptoms, blood glucose, HOMA-IR, security and other changes, and statistical analysis.Results1. Two groups were improved hyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiency type in TCM symptoms in patients with type 2 diabetes, the total efficiency of 73.91% in the control group, the treatment group was 93.33%, statistically that the treatment group than the control group in improving clinical symptoms. In the aspect of clinical symptoms, the treatment group in improving the dry throat, Yaoxisuanruan symptoms significantly better than the control group.2. Two groups were improved hyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiency in glucose metabolism in type T2DM patients, evaluation of curative effect of blood glucose control group the total effective rate was 73.91%, the treatment group was 93.33%, can be considered in the hypoglycemic effect of aspects of basic therapy+metformin+Zhibai Dihuang decoction is better than the routine treatment plus metformin tablets. The two group can effectively reduce FBG,2hPBG and HbAlc, after statistical treatment showed decrease in FBG,2hPBG and HbAlc level in treatment group than in the control (P< 0.05), can be considered in the lower FBG,2hPBG and HbAlc basic treatment+metformin +Zhibai Dihuang decoction is better than the basic therapy+metformin tablets.3. The two groups could decrease the level of Homa-IR. After statistical treatment showed that the treatment group reduced the Homa-IR to a greater extent than control group in improving insulin resistance, namely basic treatment+metformin+Zhibai Dihuang decoction is better than the routine treatment plus metformin tablets.4.In the course of treatment of Zhibai Dihuang decoction has not found adverse reactions. ConclusionZhibai Dihuang Decoction Combined with metformin improved hyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiency type sugar metabolism in patients with type 2 diabetes, insulin resistance, Chinese medicine symptoms than metformin. |
