ObjectiveThis study uses randomized controlled clinical trail, through observing the clinical effect of acupuncture combined with super laser therapy, and to compare it with pure acupuncture, and then discusses the effectiveness and feasibility of the treatment with acupuncture combined with super laser therapy for cervical vertigo.MethodsThe study selected 60 cases of cervical vertigo which were in accordance with the inclusion critera in Januaru 2014 to February 2015 at the Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese medicine, and they were divided into treatment group(acupuncture combined with super laser therapy) and control group (pure acupuncture),30 cases for each group. control group:The points of Baihui, Fengchi(both sides), Jingbailao(both sides), Dazhu(both sides) were needled, match points along with TCM syndrome; treatment group: The points of Fengchi (both sides) were irradiatedn with the super laser after needling Baihui, Fengchi(both sides), Jingbailao(both sides), Dazhu(both sides), nce every other one day for both groups,10 days for a course of treatment and there were 2 cources in total. Referring to "standards for disgnosis and curative effect of Chinese medical symptom" issued by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese medicine and the "cervical vertigo symtomps and functional assessment scales" to evaluate the improvement of cervical vertigo patients’ symtomps at 2 different observation points, which were after one course’s treatment and after finishing all the treatments.Result1. ESCV scores:After one course’s treatment, both of the treatment group and the control group’s ESCV scores are higher than before treatment, the difference is statistically significant (p<0.05) between before treatment and after one course’s treatment of both groups. It explains that both groups can improve symptoms of the patients, and the average score of the treatment group’s ESCV is obviously higher than the control group’s, the difference is statistically significant(p<0.05), It explains that the treatment group in the therapeutic effect on vertigo symptoms is better than the control group. fter finishing treatment, the ESCV scores of both groups are all higher than before treatment at two observation points, which are after one course’s treatment and after finishing all the treatments, the difference is statistically significant(P<0.05), showing that therapeutic effect is more and more obvious with the treatment of cervical vertigo, moreover the average score of the treatment group’s ESCV is obviously higher than the control group’s, the difference is statistically significant(p<0.05), it further points out that the treatment group is better than the control group in the improvement of cervical vertigo symptoms.2. Clinical efficacy comparison:After two courses’treatment, the total effective rate and the curative rate of treatment group respectively are 93.33%、86.33%, and the total effective rate and the curative rate of control group respectively are 83.33%、63.33%, the difference is statistically significant (P<0.05) in the curative rate, it suggests that the treatment group is obviously better than the control group in the therapeutic effect.ConclusionAcupuncture combined with super laser therapy group and pure acupuncture group both can improve the symptoms of cervical vertigo, moreover, Acupuncture combined with super laser therapy group is quicker and better in the aspect of clinical effect.
