Clinical Study On The Effects Of Heat-clearing And Blood- Activating Recipe On Endothelium Function Of Acute Coronary Syndrome Patients

ObjectiveStudy on the effects of heat-clearing and blood-activating recipe on endothelium function of acute coronary syndrome patients.Methods60 patients with ACS of toxic heat and blood stasis syndromes were randomly divided into test group(30 patients treated with heat-clearing and blood-activating recipe and conventional western medicine)and control group (30 patients only treated with western medicine). Explore the effects of heat-clearing and blood-activating recipe on endothelium function of ACS patients, who treat for seven days, by comparing the general condition between two groups and endothelium function、clinical effects、drug safety and adverse drug reaction between two groups pre and post treatment.Results1. Test of endothelium function:After 7 days-treatment, the level of NO in 59 case increased significantly and the level of ET in 50 cases decreased significantly, which meant the endothelium function in both two groups improved. However, the endothelial function of test group improved significantly comparing with control group (P<0.05) which relieved damage on endothelial cells and dosage belonging to ester nitrate reduced.2. Clinical effect:the TCM symptoms of test group improved effectively without deficiency syndrome appeared, especially the scores of heat syndromes were significantly lower than control group (P<0.05). The points of Seattle Angina Questionnaire in test group increased significantly after treatment, which meant angina relieved effectively, physical activity limitation, angina stability status and treatment satisfaction got better than control group(P<0.05). As result, the life quality of patients improved significantly while there no difference of two groups in angina recognition between pre and post treatment.3. Drug safety:Comparing drug safety between two groups after treatment, safety analysis showed no difference and there was no obvious adverse reactions, which meant heat-clearing and blood-activating recipe has good drug safety.ConclusionAcute coronary syndromes induced injury in endothelium function which improved significantly by heat-clearing and blood-activating recipe and conventional western medicine treatment. Also, the TCM symptoms and angina in test group improved effectively.The relief mechanism on endothelial dysfunction by heat-clearing and blood-activating recipe may in connection with anti-inflammation and anti-oxidation. Also, there were adverse reactions occurred during therapy process. Heat-clearing and blood-activating recipe can protect endothelium function safely and effectively and improve prognosis of CAD patients.
