| ObjectiveEssential thrombocythemia(ET)is a common type of myeloproliferative neoplasms, its clinical characterized mainly as thrombosis and bleeding, there is high risk to myelofibrosis or acute leukemia transformation. This clinical study is to evaluate the clinical efficacy of remove blood stasis and toxin-resolving therapy in essential thrombocythemia, by observing the changes of platelet cout, platelet aggregation rate, symptoms of traditional chinese medicine, and the clinical efficacy of onset time before and after treatment. Explore the feasibility of traditional chinese medicine treatment of this disease, providing scentific basis for using remove blood stasis and toxin-resolving therapy in ET.MethodsThe study included 22 patients with ET were randomly divided into group A and group B.The group B was given interferon therapy while the group A was given the same except that remove blood stasis and toxin-resolving therapy was added. After three courses of treatment (12 weeks), observe the changes of clinical indicators and efficacy between the two groups.ResultsA total effective rate of group A was higher than in group B. There was no statistically significant by chi-square test(p<0.05). In improving the efficancy of clinical symptms, group A was superior to group B(p<0.05). Group A works better in decreasing the level of platelet count, symptom scores compared with group B. Platelet aggregation rate between the two groups are on the rise, but no statistically significant difference between the two groups(p>0.05). Clinical onset time of group A shortened, compared with group B.Conclusion1, Compared with interferon group, the remove blood stasis and toxin-resolving therapy showed no difference.2, The remove blood stasis and toxin-resolving therapy can improve the clinical symptoms, reduce the level of platelet count.3, In shortening the clinical onset time, the remove blood stasis and toxin-resolving therapy worked better. |
