| ObjectiveAlopecia areata is a common beauty damaging diseases. It usually happens on young people and seriously influences patient’s life quality. In this study, we chose liver and kidney deficiency type of alopecia areata patients as the observations, used plum-blossom needle combined with scientific Chinese medicine Gushenshengfa to oral as the treatment method. To observe the changes of alopecia areata lesions score and the quality of life score of both two group patients. To evaluate the clinical efficacy of plum-blossom needle unite scientific Chinese medicine of Gushenshengfa.MethodsWe chose a randomized control method to divide the patients into two groups, including 30 cases in treatment group,30 cases in the control group. The treatment group use plum-blossom needle unite scientific Chinese medicine of Gushenshengfa oral, while the control group only use scientific Chinese medicine of Gushenshengfa to oral. The plum-blossom needle knock 1 time a day, treat 6 times a week, treating every 6 days then rest 1 day,4 weeks for 1 course of a treatment. While the scientific Chinese medicine were taken 3 times a day,4 weeks for a course of treatment. After 1 course of treatment, we compared the alopecia areata lesions score and the quality of life score of both two group patients. At last, all the data was analyzed by SPSS19.0, and compare the clinical effects of two groups of patients.ResultsBefore the patients accepted the treatment program, we compared the basic factors of these two groups, we found there was no significant differences in sex, age and the course of disease (P<0.05). Also the alopecia areata lesions score and the quality of life score were recorded, and the differences were not statistical significance. But after treatment, the alopecia areata lesions score and the quality of life score in both two groups decreased, and the treatment group remarkably. The statistics analysis showed that the method of plum-blossom needle unite scientific Chinese medicine of Gushenshengfa oral can improve the patients skin lesions and life quality.After a course of treatment, in the treatment group,4 cases were completely cured, significantly improved in 17 cases, and improved in 6 cases, no-effective in 3 case. While in the control group,2 cases were completely cured, significantly improved in 11 cases, and improved in 10 cases, no-effective in 7 cases. The overall effective rate was 90.00% for treatment group and 76.67% for control group, the treatment group is much better than control group, which had obvious difference (P<0.05)ConclusionPlum-blossom needles, can make the local vessel expansion, main and collateral channels excitation to adjust the internal organs function, harmonizing Qi and blood. Then the hair and skin can be filled to raise. Scientific Chinese medicine of Gushenshengfa can tonify the liver and kidney, black beard hair solid effect, convenient for taking, the compliance of patients with strong. This therapy can effectively improve the skin lesions of shrinkage score and life quality score in patients with alopecia areata, reduce the trouble of beauty, improve the quality of life. It is safe, simple and effective, it is deserved to popularize. |
