Objective:To compare the clinical effect of monopolar electrocoagulation combined with Ligasure and ultrasonic scalpel in laparoscopy-assisted distal gastrectomy(LADG)for gastric cancer. Methods:From January 2012 to January 2014,112 patients with gastric cancer underwent LADG were retrospectively reviewed and analyzed. Among the cases, 53 patients treated by monopolar electrocoagulation combined with Ligasure, the other 59 patients underwent ultrasonic scalpel. The operation time, intraoperative blood loss, number of resected lymph nodes, postoperative course and complications were analyzed and compared between the two groups. Results:The mean operation time, blood loss and postoperative drainage volume of monopolar electrocoagulation combined with Ligasure group was less than the other group [(131±47.2) vs.(151±51.8) min, P=0.018;(108.2±43.9) vs.(188.4±51.7) m L, P=0.026;and(216±68) vs.(272±76ml)m L,P=0.041].The number of harvested lymphnodes, time of drainage tubes removed, hosptital stay, time of gastrointestinal function recovery and complications were comparable between the two groups. Conclusions:The application of monopolar electrocoagulation and Ligasure in LADG for gastric cancer is safe and feasible, and has the advantage of less bleeding and shorter operation time. |
