And the extension of "god" and "brain" and the relationship between them is analyzed and briefly explained. Conclusions:The Yellow Emperor’s Classic of Internal Medicine is a work of Materialism. The "deity" it mentioned is not like "ghost" or "god". Although the theory of "deity" appears to be profound, it can be classified and understood. And this makes the research of the essence of "deity" in traditional Chinese medicine possible. This paper supposes the brain is made up of cranial cavity outside and brain inside, and can be divided into three parts--"Naohu" "Naozhong" and "Naohou", which is quite similar to the opinion from European Medical that the brain is made up of cerebral cortex, brain stem, and cerebellum. As a special Central viscera, the brain has a variety of functions. The relationship between deity and brain mainly shows in the way that the brain stores deity from the five zang organs through meridians and collaterals and sends it outside, and the brain is only a place where deity gathers but not a master. |
