Comparison Of The Effect Of Short-acting And Long-acting GnRN-a In IVF-ET By Long Protocol

Objective:Analyze pituitary down-regulation effect and clinical results of long-acting and short-acting gonadotrophin releasing hormone agonist (GnRH-a) in the s-tandard long protocol in vitro fertilization-embryo transplantation (IVF-ET).Methods: A retrospective analysis was conducted on 582 patients who have been treated by I VF-ET long protocol in this center.According to different GnRH-a formulation used, t-hey were divided into A and B groups,in which A group were treated with shorta-cting GnRh-a agent 0.1 mg/d by subcutaneous injectionto human chorionic gonadot ropin (HCG),while B group were treated with long-acting GnRh-a agent 1.5mg one-time by intramuscular injection for pituitary down-regulation.The pituitary downreg-ulation effect and clinical results of the two groups were respectively compared.Re-sults:Gn acting hormone level (FSH, LH, E2)of short-acting GnRH-a group and H-CG LH level are both obviously higher than those of the long-acting GnRH-a gro up (P<0.05),while the overall usage of Gn, Gn time and HCG E2 le-vel in short-acting GnRH-a group are obviously lower than those of the long-actin-g GnRH-a group (P<0.05).The Gnactivate dosage,HCG P level and intimal thic-kness,retrieved oocytes numbers,fertility rate.cleavage rate,high-quality embryonic rate,implantation rate,clinical pregnancy rate,abortion rate, heterotopic pregn-ancy,cycle cancellation r-atehave no statistically significantdifference (P>0.05).Conclusion:In the IVF-ET lon-g protocol of ovulation inductiontreatment,long-acting and short-acting GnRH-a age-nt are all up to standard of pituitary down-regulation and have same clinical outc-ome.The short-acting agent of clinical outcome is of fewer dosage,which can allev-iate the economic pressures of patients more effectively with more flexible applic-ation,thus,it is worth spreading.
