ERβ Gene Polymorphism And Breast Cancer Correlation Study Of Uygur And Han In Xinjiang

Objective:To investigate the expression of ERβ gene RsaI polymorphism with breast cancer susceptibility in Xinjiang Han and Uygur race. Method:Using the polymerase chain reaction-restrictive fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) method, examines 130 examples Uygur race feminine breast cancer patients,125 examples Uygur race normal feminine,120 examples Han race feminine breast cancer patients and 118 examples Han race normal feminine ERβ gene RsaI position spot polymorphism analysis, analyzes this spot polymorphism and the breast cancer susceptivity relationship. Results:Uygur and Han ethnic groups of cases and controls with genotype distribution and allele frequencies significantly different(P<0.05).In the Uygur group, Rr genotype was no significant associated with decreased risk of breast cancer occurrence(OR 0.950,95% CI 0.529-1.707, P>0.05)compared with the rr genotype. In the Han group differences in the distribution of cases and controls genotype and allele frequency between groups were statistically significant (P<0.05). Rr genotype was significantly associated with increased risk of breast carcinoma occurrence(OR 0.370,95% CI 0.279-0.792,P<0.05)compared with the rr genotype. In the Uygur group, the risk of carrying Rr genotype of breast cancer in BMI>25Kg/m2, no family history of cancer were decreased, In the Han group, risk of carrying Rr genotype at the age of 36-49, menarche age 13-16, non productive history or BMI<25Kg/m2 were decreased, ER(3 gene polymorphism wasn’t associated with ER、PR or Her-2. Conclusion:Uygur and Han ethnic groups.with genotype distribution and allele frequencies significantly different in Cases and controls,ERP RsaI polymorphism is associated with the occurrence of breast cancer in Uygur and Han.
