Objective:To identify the genotype and allele distribution feature of cytochro me P4502C19 (CYP2C19) in Chinese Uighur, Kazak and Han populations. To mak e clear the relationship between gene polymorphism and ethnic differences, Accordi ng to the test results of different coagulation function, obtains the relationship betw een different CYP2C19 alleles on the clinical efficacy of clopidogrel platelet inhibit ion rate. In order to help adjust the dosage, improve drug efficacy, reduce drug to xicity objective. Methods:The CYP2C19 genotypes of the unrelated patients were assessed by polymerase chain reaction and restriction fragment length polymorphis m(PCR-RFLP). Finding out the differences of genotype distribution among the thre e Chinese nationalities.The520 inpatients were selected from The First Teaching Ho spital Xinjiang Medical University Cadre Ward. At the same time, extracted from 7 7 cases of Uygur unrelated patients with the coronary heart disease, The patients were given conventional dose of 75mg of clopidogrel administered orally once dail y, Observation of the venous blood the quantity of platelet, prothrombin time (PT), partial thromboplastin time (APTT) results after a certain period of time. Accordin g to the test that results of different coagulation function, obtains the relationship b etween different CYP2C19 alleles of the clinical efficacy of clopidogrel platelet inh ibition rate. Results:Six different CYP2C19 genotypes were determined in this stu dy. There was a significant difference among the three Chinese nationalities (P<0.0 5). At the same time, according to the 77 cases of Uygur patients with alleles of different grouping. However, CYP2C19*1, CYP2C19*2, CYP2C19*3between the gr oups quantity of PdG, prothrombin time, partial thromboplastin time had no signific ant difference,no statistical significance. Conclusion:Nationality has significant effe ct on genetiv polymorphism of CYP2C19 in Chinese Uighur, Kazakand and Han p opulations CYP2C19*2, CYP2C19*3 between the groups quantity of platelet proth romb-in time, partial thromboplastin time hadno significant difference nostatistical si gnificance.
