Interventional Treatment Via Bronchoscope Of Tracheal Stenosis In 40 Cases Were Completely Analyzed

Objective:To explore the meaning of interventional treatment via bronchoscope of tracheal stenosis caused by tumor in large airway.Methods:40 cases were analyzed retrospectively from January 2009 to August 2013, and their clinical material were collected in the hospital, to compare with the clinical data and effect of different interventional treatments.Results:The 40 patients are fit to inclusion criteria, with the different interventional treatments, such as Cryotherapy、Tracheal stent placement, Argon plasma coagulation and Electrocautery. The group before and after interventional treatment, mean airway diameters(0.65±0.28)cm, (1.12±0.05)cm. The airway diameter turned significantly wider after interventional treatment. The dyspnea symptom of 40 patients were quickly improved, the difference was statistically significant. The group before and after interventional treatment, dyspnea index (3.25±0.44), (1.65±0.88), and after interventional treatment dyspnea index declined, activity endurance increased, the difference was statistically significant.Conclusion:Interventional treatment is the most important method for patients with tumor in large airway. It can improve patients equlity of life in early time.
