Cardiovascular disease is a serious harmful disease, which is one of the main cause of death. There is a diversity of cardiovascular disease, of which the end of ventricular failure is the most serious. when it occurs, the ventricle is unable to complete normal pump function, So that all the organs and tissues in the body can’t guarantee health. And that which is given priority to left ventricular heart failure. Left ventricular assist device(LVAD) is one of the effective methods for the treatment of left ventricular failure.The principle of LVAD is complete auxiliary left ventricular pump function through the blood pump to maintain the left ventricular cardiac output. Evaluating the performance of an LVAD is necessary before used on human body, after the manufacture of an LVAD is completed. This usually were done by living animal experiment, but it will take a lot of energy and financial resources. Because LVAD need to continuously improve and correction, and need a lot of animal experiment, so the researchers hope that before the experiment in vivo, can have such an experiment, some basic properties of an LVAD could be evaluated, the in vitro circulation system become the researchers need to implement a device. Although in vitro circulation system it can’t completely replace experimentation, it can accelerate the blood pump manufacturing process, and provide a certain degree of performance testing. The main contents of this dissertation are as follows:Firstly, We use of left ventricular assist device environment blood circulation system, the basic knowledge and understanding of physiology, circulation system are introduced in detail the major component of the features and functions.Secondly, The artificial heart which used in vitro mock circulation system structural principle and impeller radial equilibrium and the tendency of the rotor balance is introduced, and Fluent software is used in the simulation of centrifugal pump performance, to ensure the experiments of pump performance requirements, simulate the performance of the human heart, satisfies the requirement of human physiological characteristics.Thirdly, On the basis of the circulation of the blood system in vitro simulation testing system of mathematical modeling, the normal physiological condition and heart failure conditions are numerically simulated, proves the validity of the mathematical model. In vitro test system components in the model selection, purchase of equipment and structures, test bench test.Finally, Test system of pressure sensor, flow sensor, electromagnetic valve terminals connected to the terminals on the data acquisition card, card by card slot built-in computer. So you can through the built in vitro experimental and simulation test-bed for related data collection, test out the artificial heart physiological characteristics of centrifugal pump, verified the feasibility of artificial heart in vitro loop simulation test system.
