Objective To assess the therapeutic effect of point injection in the treatment forprolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc. Methods A specified literature search wasperformed on Cochrane Library, VIP,CNKI and WanFang database, the search ended inNov,2013. Selection step by step and forty-one literatures of randomized controlled trials(RCT) of point injection in the treatment for prolapse of lumbar intervertebral disc.Establish the database with Microsoft Access2000,then data Collection and analysis. Theoriginal data of each trial were analyzed with software Rev Man5.2,with themeta-analysis. Results Of all the37included studies,30comparied the balance betweengroups, Clearly pointed out that the experiment group and the control group have nosignificant statistical difference in terms of age, gender, degree of pain, duration.Amongthem,38only refer to random,2randomized by random number table,1by SPSS13.0statistical software random number distribution method. The hidden random scheme, notmentioned in the literatures. There is no literature using blind method.3literatures mentionfollow-up visit, There is no literature mention adverse reaction. the aspect of qualities oftrials were assessed. In the Jaded score no literatures score3,5literatures score1and thelast score0.11descripted the researches analysed statistical tool and22descripted thespecific statistic method. Meta analysis shows that acupoint injection has obvious effect inthe treatment of lumbar disc herniation. The control group only acupoint injection of theefficacy of the treatment group is superior to other therapy; control group curative effect ofJiaji Point Injection in the treatment of lumbar disc herniation is better than non acupointinjection therapy; acupoint injection combined with the effects of different interventionsfor the treatment of lumbar disc herniation were better than those of different intervention methods used alone; there are differences of therapeutic effects of different acupointinjection for treatment of lumbar disc herniation. Conclusion The curative effect of acupoint injection for treatment of lumbar discherniation is better than non acupoint injection therapy, and acupuncture point injectiontherapy acupoint selection and treatment times are relatively small, affected byenvironmental and time is small, it is worth promoting in clinical trial. Therefore, it isnecessary to perform massive central randomized controlled trials in good internal validityand high quality in future.
