| Objective：To observe the clinical curative effect of paraffin sticking for treatmentof Yang deficiency and cold coagulation type of knee osteoarthritis，verification in theordinary acupuncture as a prerequisite for basic treatment，application of wax therapy canincrease the efficacy， mechanism and discuss the methods for the treatment ofosteoarthritis of the knee， and then for the clinical treatment of knee osteoarthritis toprovide new ideas and methods.Methods：60patients met the inclusion criteria of Yang deficiency and coldcoagulation type of knee osteoarthritis were randomly divided into treatment group andcontrol group two groups，30patients in each group. Treatment group used paraffinsticking therapy with ordinary acupuncture treatment， the control group with normalacupuncture treatment. All patients with treatment1times a day,7days for a period oftreatment, rest for a day, between the two courses of treatment of three consecutive periodof treatment. The degree of pain， knee joint before and after treatment in each patient’sknee joint function and overall efficacy evaluation after the end， then make a comparativeanalysis.Results：①After treatment， knee pain score in two groups were significantly lowerthan before treatment， the difference was statistically significant （P＜0.01）； treatmentgroup than in the control group decreased more，the difference was statistically significant（P＜0.05）；②After treatment，the knee functional scores of two groups of patients werecompared with those before treatment significantly increased， the difference wasstatistically significant （P＜0.01）； treatment group than in the control group increased more， the difference was statistically significant （P＜0.01）；③Patients in the twogroupsin the total effective rate was96.67%，93.33%， no significant difference （P＞0.05）；④Safety results：Have a small number of patients in two groups of patients inclinical trials during a hematoma, erythema, such as mild adverse reactions, and can berestored within3days; Without treatment, burns and other serious adverse reactions andabnormal changes of related acupuncture treatment, instructions, security ishigher.Conclusion： The paraffin sticking treatment of Yang deficiency and coldcoagulation type knee osteoarthritis curative effect， can significantly improve the clinicalsymptoms， relieve pain， can be further applied in clinic. |
