Clinical Research On Ashi Points Sihua Needling Method For Treatment Of Neck Type Of Cervical Spondylosis

Objective: Neck type of cervical spondylosis is a clinical commondisease, frequently-occurring disease, with the rapid development ofsociety, people change the way of life, cervical spondylosis increased therisk in recent years, and gradually younger and popularization. Neck typeof cervical spondylosis is the early onset of cervical spondylosis, the mainclinical symptoms is neck, shoulder caid pain and restricted movement. Ifneck type of cervical spondylosis failed to timely treatment, it has thepotential to further develop into other types of cervical spondylosis,appear upper limb radiation pain, numbness, dizziness, even paralysis andother symptoms gradually, serious damage to people’s physical andmental health, so treatment as soon as possible in the disease early torelieve symptoms is requested. This study aimed at the neck type ofcervical spondylosis, Ashi points Sihua needling method is used totreatment, to observe its efficacy and safety, comprehensive evaluation ofits clinical value, for the clinical treatment of neck type of cervicalspondylosis in search of better treatment. Methods: This study using themethods of randomized and controlled clinical observation, on the basisof establish strict diagnosis, inclusion, exclusion criteria and efficacyevaluation criteria. From May2013to February2014, we collected60neck type of cervical spondylosis patients in the Acupuncture clinic of theAffiliated Hospital of Sichuan Academy of traditional Chinese Medicine,then divided the eligible subjects into treatment group (Ashi points Sihuaneedling method) and the control group (routine needling method) according to the proportion of1:1by completely randomized digital tablemethod. After treatment, respectively on two groups of cases before andafter treatment of symptoms, signs and other scores, collect the data,using the SPSS17.0statistical software for data processing, and statisticalresults, then analysis and discuss the curative effect of two methods oftreatment differences. Results: There are57patients to complete the testin two group in total, the treatment group29cases,28cases in the controlgroup. The results are as follows:1. The comparison of integrated effects:29patients in the treatment group,19cases were cured,9cases feel better,invalid1patient, the total effective rate was96.6%, Control group of28patients,9cases were cured,17cases feel better, failure in2patients, thetotal effective rate was92.9%. Two groups of curative effect comparison,after statistics processing, there are significant difference significance, P<0.05, shows that the treatment group curative effect is better than thecontrol group.2. The analgesic effect: The pain scores of the two groupsbefore after treatment after statistics processing are significantlydecreased (P <0.01), shows the two groups to improve the patient’s paineffect is obvious. From the comparison of the analgesic efficaciesbetween two groups shows the treatment group curative effect is betterthan that of control group (P <0.05).3. The neck disability index:Cervical dysfunction index of two groups were significantly decreased (P<0.01), the two groups can improve the patients with cervical dysfunction.There was no difference in the comparison between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion:1. The two groups before treatment no difference inindex of gender, age, occupation distribution, the extent of the disease,illness degree.2. After treatment, integrated effects and analgesic effect inthe Ashi points Sihua needling method were better than those in theroutine needling method, but there was no difference in the neckdisability index.3. Ashi points Sihua needling method and the routine needling method both have a certain curative effect neck type of cervicalspondylosis patients, but in clinical curative effect Ashi points Sihuaneedling method better than the routine needling method.4. Ashi pointsSihua needling method treatments for neck type of cervical spondylosishas the following advantages: less acupoint selection, low cost, simpleoperation, strong controllability, high safety operation. Ashi points Sihuaneedling has good clinical value.
