| ObjectiveProlonged therapy with nucleoside and nucleotide Analogues results in the emergence of drug-resistant mutants of HBV. while, Recent studies have found that these mutants also exist in treatment-naive patients. The aim of this study is to investigate the natural drug-resistant mutants in CHB patients, examine.the rate of drug-resistant mutants, detect the mutational site, which will provides us helpful data for choosing antiviral drugs.Methods1.Clinical data of352treatment-naive CHB cases were analysed retrospectively from2004to2010.2.Pyrosequencing technology and DNA sequencing Sanger were applied to detect the mutational site.Resultsl.We detected345HBVDNA sequences of352cases,7cases had no results, natural drug-resistant mutants were detected in8cases, the rate of natural drug-resistant mutants was2.32%.2. The main mutational sites were rtV173Lã€rtL180Mã€rtA181Tã€rtM204V〠rtV207Lã€rtS213Tã€rtV214Iã€rtN236T.3. From2004to2006,145patients with CHB were not detected resistant mutation, the rate of natural drug-resistant mutants from2007-2010was2.63%ã€3.92%ã€4.69%and4%respectively. 4. Multivariate logistic regression analysis, the incidence of resistant mutants displayed with an infected person age-related and ource-related.Conclusions1. Patients with CHB from some areas of Jiangsu have naturalresistance gene mutation of HBV, the detection rate of drug resistance mutation was2.32%.2. The rate of drug-resistant mutants detection was rising every year during2004-2010.3. Age over30and the source of patients were the relative factors of drug-resistant mutants. |
