Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy and safety of treating chronic calculous cholecystitis of Qi-stagnation and blood stasis by Dannang Recipe No.III(DRN III) in the perioperative periodSubjects and Methods:It was designed as randomized experiment with62patients of chronic calculous cholecystitis of Qi-stagnation and blood stasis included who were divided randomizely into two groups:Chinese medical study group (32cases) and control group (30cases).The treatment group was treated with DRN III in the perioperative period, which was hoiled with water and taken one dose per day, starting from the previous night of operation. The control group was treated by antibiotic with cefrnenoxime2.0g via intravenous dirpping once0.5h before-operation preventive and1-3days after operation according to patients’condition. The indexes, including the postoperative bowel sounds recovery time, evacuation time and defecation time, effective rate, postoperative infection rate,as well as the WBC,CRP,TBIL,DBIL before and after operation, were analyzed and compared between groups. Results:The postoperative bowel sounds recovery time of the treatment group on the levels was15.48h,the other was29.82h, in which, there was significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).The postoperative evacuation time of the treatment group on the levels was28.23h,the other was46.58h, in which, there was significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).The postoperative defecation time of the treatment group on the levels was36.15h,the other was61.09h, in which, there was significant difference between the two groups (PO.05).The total WBC on the first day after surgery of the treatment group on the levels was9.33X109/L,the other was11.40X109/L, in which, there was significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).The total CRP on the first day after surgery of the treatment group on the levels was16.15mg/l,the other was30.4mg/l, in which, there was significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05).The total TBIL on the first day after surgery of the treatment group on the levels was16.2umol/l. the other was16.9umol/l, in which, there was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05).The total DBIL on the first day after surgery of the treatment group on the levels was7.8umol/l,the other was7.4umol/l, in which, there was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05).The total effective rate of the treatment group was96.9%,and the other was63.3%, in which, there was significant difference between the two groups (p<0.05).The postoperative infection rate of the treatment group was3.13%,and the other was3.33%, in which, there was no significant difference between the two groups (P>0.05).The incidence rate of adverse effect was6.25%in treatment group and that was6.67%in control group, had no significant difference between them (P>0.05)Conclusions:The treating for chronic calculous cholecystitis of Qi-stagnation and blood stasis by DRN Ⅲ in the perioperative period can further improve the clinical effects on the patients. It was also showed the effect on effectively improving theTCM Syndrome of the patients with DRN Ⅲ was also better than in those treated with conventional western medicine alone. It was showed the effect on reducing the levels of serum WBC,CRP in patients with chronic calculous cholecystitis of Qi-stagnation and blood stasis in those treated with DRN IIIin the perioperative period was no worse than in those treated by antibiotic alone. The therapy would improve symptoms and signs without toxic or side effect or any adverse reaction.
