Most patients with Alzheimer’s disease (AD) lost the best timing of treatment, when the symptoms are severe and the disease is irreversible. The prevalence of AD is highly associated with age. The rate doubled in every5-year older, statically,1.5%in age of60-69and40%in age90. As the gradually increasing number of elderly population, government increasingly concerned on the care of AD patients. Because of difficulty in therapy, early diagnosis and intervention are thought to be the best way to reduce burden of AD. Researchers have showed that customized intervention on AD can improve the quality of nursing, reduce the inappropriate behavior of dementia, increase chances of patients and their caregivers to get help from community and decrease caregivers’stress and depression. Objective:To analyze the standardization of clinical specialists in early diagnosis and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. Method:we recruited a case from memory disorders outpatient who progressed AD from mild cognitive impairment (MCI) in5years, and analyzed whether clinical diagnosis, treatment and using of assessment tools are reasonable, timely and complete.Result:(1) It is accurate and reasonable of diagnosis standards of AD and MCI mastered by clinical specialist.(2) Clinical diagnosis did not combined with the domestic and international research progress well, leading to a fail of early diagnosis of AD.(3) Cognitive training and physical exercise are reasonable chosen as intervention of MCI, in line with the domestic and international practice clinically. However, the lowest amount curative dose of medication, was inappropriate which should be changed responding to the change of symptom.(4) Psychological assessments:mini mental state scale (MMSE), Montreal cognitive assessment of Beijing edition (MoCA), Screening Scale for mild cognitive impairment (sMCI), daily life activities ability scale (ADL), wechsler memory scale (WMS) and clinical dementia rating scale (CDR) are evaluated and head MRI is examined regularly. Meanwhile,18-fluorodeoxyglucose-positron emission tomography (FDG-PET) and single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) are helpful for diagnosis. Conclusion:It is difficulty in early diagnosis of AD. Thus, it is necessary to establish a standardized diagnosis and treatment process as well as updating knowledge of clinical diagnosis and treatment timely.
