| [Objective]Based on the questionnaire survey of general state, inventory of depressive symptoms and related laboratory tests, this study has explored the incidence and premenstrual syndrome (PMS) influencing factors on women who attended healthy checkup in reproductive age in order to improve the diagnosis and treatment of the women with PMS.[Methods]In462women reproductive age, we tested the general state of health questionnaire, premenstrual syndrome scale, Beck Depression Inventory, the lever of the estradiol (E2), progesterone (P), gynecological B-ultrasonography and blood lipids. According to the diagnostic criteria of John Bancroft, the occurrence of premenstrual syndrome as the total symptom score≥6points was calculated. In addition, we analysed related influencing actors of PMS by two sample T-test, chi-square test, correlation and logistic regression.[Results]In total,486of500questionares were collected, and462were valid, which meant the effective rate of exporation is95.1%. Based on the462valid questionnares, it was found that (1) The incidence PMS rate of women in reproductive age was10.4%. In specific,79.1%of them were mild,14.6%were moderate while6.3%of them were severe. Among various symptoms, the occurrence rate of irritability, insomnia, migraine headaches and abdominal distension were highest;(2) The blood lipids level and the history of ectopic pregnancy of women in reproductive age had significant correlation with PMS. But the estrogen or progesterone levels and the presence of uterine fibroids were not correlated signifcantly with PMS.(3) Nature of job, working pressure and smoking frequency were significantly associated with PMS. But the age, education, occupation, exercise frequency, body size, drinking frequency, marital status, pregnancy and abortion as well as the menstrual regularity and dysmenorrhea were out of significant difference;(4) The positive rate of depressive symptoms in reproductive age women was6.9%. And their PMS was positively correlated with depressive symptoms of women in reproductive age;(5) The logistic regression analysis revealed that the influencing factors of PMS in reproductive age women were level of blood lipids, depression and working pressure. The severity of depressive symptoms was associated with PMS.[Conclusions]The incidence rate of premenstrual syndrome in women reproductive age was10.4%, of which79.1%were mild; prominent symptoms of PMS patients were irritability and insomnia. Depressive symptoms were positively associated with PMS. Elevated blood lipids, depression and working pressure were the major risk factors that lead to occurrence of the premenstrual syndrome among women in reproductive age. |
