Objective Evaluation of the quality of life(QOL) in surgery patients withhepatic Cystic Echinococcosis(CE) undergoing six months, to analyze thepossible influence factors and provide the scientific basis for the development ofinterventions. Evaluation the reliability and validity of QOL scale in hydatidsurgery patients. Methods Obtain general information through the medicalrecords, evaluation the quality of life in surgery patients of hepatic CE withQOL scale. Using multiple linear regression analysis method is selected factorsaffecting life quality; the statistical methods such as independent sample t-testto compare the life quality of the hospital, and using the method of factoranalysis and correlation analysis of scale to evaluate the reliability and validity. Results QOL influencing factors of surgery patients with hepatic CE inhospital A are age, occupation, hospitalization days, previous surgery andhospital costs. The QOL influencing factors of surgery patients with hepatic CE in hospital B are age, occupation, education level, average household income, hospitalization days, previous surgery, the number and average diameter ofhydatid, and hospitalization costs. Common factors in both hospitals arehospitalization days, previous surgery and hospitalization costs. The resultsshow that there are differences in physiology field, independence field, environmental field and total scores between two hospitals QOL. Hospital A’sscore is higher than B in physiology field, environmental field and total scores, and lower in independence field. Overall scale Cronbach’s α coefficient of QOLscale in hydatid surgery patient is0.76, split-half reliability coefficient was0.84.Factor analysis extracted five common factors, cumulative variance contributionrate is80.32%. This five common factors in line with five fields of scale. Thecorrelation coefficient between fields and total scores were greater than thecorrelation coefficient between the various fields. Conclusion Based on QOLinfluencing factors of both hepatic CE surgery patients, provide reasonable andeffective interventions. Implementation of doctors, nurses, volunteers Trinitymode, when the patient hospitalized; continuity of attention by their families, communities, etc., when the patient was discharged. Promoting the relevantlocal doctors, nurses, and technical staff training process to achieve territorialtherapy. Focus on prevention and increasing the efforts of health education toimprove disease awareness.
