| ObjectiveTo investigate the practical value of quantified3D Power Dopplerultrasound in evaluating human ovarian reserve functionMethod200women were enrolled. By measuring FSH, women were categorizedinto normal ovarian reserve (n=100) and decreased ovarian reserve (n=100). Allthe women accepted trans-vaginal3D power Doppler ultrasound examination.VOCAL analyzing software were applied to analyze women’s ovarian reserve inquantification method. Quantified indexes include antral follicle number (AFC),ovary volumn (OV), ovary vascularization index (OI), blood flow index (FI),vessel blood flow index (VFI).Based on AFC, the200women were re-categorized into normal ovarianfunction (n=127) and decreased ovarian function (n=73) groups. Indexes of OV,VI, FI and VFI were measured and analyzed.Results1. Based on FSH measurement (DOR vs Normal group): Mean of VI in was3.39%in DOR group and3.65%in normal group(P>0.05), mean of bilateral FI was19.30and30.04respectively in the twogroups (P<0.05), bilateral VFI as0.65and1.09in the two groups (P<0.05).Blood flow&vessel blood flow indexes were of negative relationship with FSHlevel.ROC curve was applied for women categorized via FSH. Cut points fordiagnosis were measured through the Youden index. For VI diagnosis, the valuewas4.63%(UCA area0.554, sensitivity0.92and specificity0.20); For FI thevalue was22.73(UCA area0.877, sensitivity0.72and specificity0.88); For VFIthe value was0.82(UCA area0.841, sensitivity0.84and specificity0.77).2. Based on AFC measurement, AFC normal group (N1) vs AFC decline(N2) group:Mean of VI in was3.42%in N2group and3.56%in N1group (P>0.05),mean of bilateral FI was16.29(N2group) and27.25(N1group) respectively inthe two groups (P<0.05), bilateral VFI as0.56(N2group) and0.96(N1group)in the two groups (P<0.05). ROC curve was applied for women categorized viaAFC. Cut points for diagnosis were measured through the Youden index. For VIdiagnosis, the value was4.83%(UCA area0.521, sensitivity0.94and specificity0.14); For FI the value was19.00(UCA area0.874, sensitivity0.79andspecificity0.92); For VFI the value was0.66(UCA area0.853, sensitivity0.81and specificity0.82). ConclusionBy applying ovary reserve quantified analysis with3D power Dopplerultrasound, it was indicated that FI and VFI of women with decreased ovaryreserve were associated with serum FSH (negative co-relation) and AFC(positive co-relation). Quantified3D power Doppler ultrasound was of clinicalvalue in evaluating human ovarian reserve. |
